This review is long overdue because I’ve been going to Ling for years and have never gotten a manicure anywhere else since I found her. She is kind, professional, so talented, and keeps up with all the latest nail trends. Throughout the years, I’ve gotten regular gel, builders gel, acrylic, and UV light gel manicures from Ling and I’m telling you she KILLS IT every time no matter what. She can do regular polish, gel, french, cat eye, chrome, designs, you name it. She will talk to you or let you be if you’d prefer to read or watch tv while you get your nails done. She gave each of her customers a hand lotion for Christmas this year! Angel has also been there the entire time I’ve known, and she is fabulous as well; Every time I bring my mom or sister Angel does their nails and is equally as skilled, kind, and professional as Ling. The salon is clean, quiet, and cozy, and just feels like a homey, tranquil space to relax. I will say, Ling is suuuuper popular So I would definitely recommend making an appointment. It is absolutely crazy to me that there are other people on here leaving bad reviews because they didn’t make an appointment so Ling was not available. She will bend over backwards to make sure she fits you in her schedule, all you have to do is call and make an appointment!!! She is also shortstaffed right now because Angel is visiting her family in China — A testament to how generous Ling is as an employer. She’s trying to hire more people and I can Testify to the fact that she does everything in her power to make her customers happy. RUN to Ling Nail (after you call ahead)!!! My absolute favorite nail salon in Jacksonville! Their builders gel Is the only one I have found that will stay on my nails. Ling and Angel ar, timely, kind, and fabulous nail techs. My daughter and I have been going there regularly for years, and I have never once had a bad manicure or pedicure. The salon is clean and small… It doesn’t feel like an assembly line like some of the bigger salons feel. Ling is such a kind owner she allows employees to take prolonged leave of absence for returning to their home country or for maternity leave. Make an appointment! This is not a large Salon with people waiting for you to walk in the door!!
Seriously one of the worst manicures I’ve ever gotten, I can’t believe I paid for this, I shouldn’t have. Their polishes are clumpy, the top coat was goopy, she didn’t do anything to make this look nice and polished. The manicurist squished my wet nails and made it look worse. This was after the first polish I picked was super thick and clumpy and I had to have them remove it. I had no confidence in it being fixed and I had to leave because it was taking forever for a simple regular polish manicure.
Ling never misses. Everyone in this place is amazing. My nails always look and feel great. I’ve been going here for about a year now and I’m always happy. 10/10 recommend and of course the salon kitty is the icing on top of the cake.
I’m very happy with Ling nail salon! I’ve been going there for a while and I always leave satisfied with how my nails look. I am quite picky about how my nails are done and they never disappoint me! Very friendly and professional. Thank you ladies at Ling salon for your wonderful service!
