I being coming to this Vet Center for about 10 yrs now. And I’m very greatfull of the whole staff and my veterans brothers & sisters. They’re going through some staff changes since a couple pilars retire, but I trust Anthony James Garnier leadership. I would love to see a writting group on the near future.
The VET Center was helpful to talk about what to do when stressed and how to take better care of myself.
Stopped in out of desperation to find someone to talk to about PTSD/TBI. I was elated to find that they had a support group of other ground combat veterans for exactly that. The lady at the front desk said she would call to “onboard” me and get the ball rolling. Three weeks later I have no voicemail, no missed calls, not a word. Good thing I wasn’t suicidal…
Guitars for Vets.... a wonderful experience annnnd I get a free guitar after the program...simply awesome.
How to file your complaints on their medical licenses plus VA OIG inspector general complaints plus license lookups. Hold them accountable for veterans. https://www.vaoig.gov/hotline/online-forms/submit-a-complaint https://complaint-portal.mqa.flhealthsource.gov/summary https://mqa-internet.doh.state.fl.us/MQASearchServices/HealthCareProviders https://abec.alabama.gov/complaints/complaint-form/ https://abec-search.kalmservices.net/ I went into the vet center in jacksonville florida on phillips highway. I met with the director Anthony James Gardiner license number SC03418 and LPC03979 licensed in Alabama. I was turned away from receiving treatment even though I qualified and met criteria. The reason they gave was that because I drink so I was a risk to the vet center despite that I never threatened anyone there. Director Anthony did a report of contact form that was not fully accurate indicating that I was never in the SAT clinic and getting treatment at the VA. When I saw the error I showed him my VA medical records showing that I was under the care of the director at the time at lake city sat clinic a mr michael keith. I asked him calmly to amend this information as it was incorrect and was the reason for him turning me down at the vet center. He refused to do so and threatened me with police/security action as a means of intimidation to get me to shut up basically. I am also completely calm during this whole encounter and ask that the video and audio footage of the lobby during February 5 2025 and February 6 2025 both around lunch time be viewed to verify my account. Since director Anthony James Gardiner was made aware of this I believe it is a HIPPA violation under falsifying medical records. I was also treated very poorly there and was not able to get treatment at the vet center.
