Had an appointment for euthanasia for my 2 cats: one has cancer that is now 5 lbs (was 16 lbd); one whose had multiple seizures. They've been together their entire lives, thought it would be best to let go together. Hard emotional decision and even harder day. Got the confirmation appointment call the day before. Get there...waited 10 minutes before shown a room. The assistant is came in...downhill from there...we had to request seeing the vet after the assistant came in the 2nd time. Said they don't have records for the seizures; of course not...They referred me to another facility for that. And now my kitty with cancer...COULD BE Diabetes. They want blood work, labs...clearly seeing how sick Jack is....they refused to give him peace. I've been going there for years...never again. The Vet doesn't seem to care about people and they're pets...just making money. Seems the entire staff was rude...is it because I chose to have my babies not suffer anymore. They judged.
DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. We had a terrible experience. 1) While drawing blood from my dog, there were two people handling her. Afterwards I knew something was wrong, because she went from being bouncy and happy to hiding under the chair. When she came out, we saw she was bleeding on the floor, and they quickly bandaged her, but removed the bandage before we left the exam room. I was extremely upset by how the situation was handled. They tried to downplay it and at the same time say it was her fault. 2. My dog has a history of seizures, and a prior vet prescribed a rescue med to take home. I asked the “travel vet” to refill it and she said, “You don’t need it. By the time you get to the vet, the seizure will be over anyway.” I tried to explain that this is exactly why the med was sent home with us before, was because she has seizures AT HOME. She refused, and said that I could ask the “regular vet” when they returned to the office. If you’ve ever had to hold a dog while they’re seizing, then you can understand how upsetting this was to hear. I also just discovered that this clinic is CORPORATE-OWNED and the vets and nurse who treated my dog were just “traveling”/temporary staff, not regular employees. I’ll never bring my dog back here, it was so heartbreaking.
I was searching for a low-cost clinic to help a very sick kitten. This office was kind enough to fit me in for a same-day appointment. Sadly, her chances of survival were very slim. The staff here were absolutely wonderful. The vet who saw us was kind, patient, and compassionate, and every staff member treated both me and the kitten with genuine care. I truly appreciated that no one pressured me to pour money into a hopeless case, which I’ve unfortunately experienced at other clinics. Situations like that not only break your heart but also make it harder to keep helping animals in need. Thank you all for being her angels today. If I ever find another pet in need of an honest and compassionate prognosis, I know exactly where I’ll be coming. RIP Phoenix 🐦🔥
Wonderful caring and knowledgeable staff. Had a great experience needing to have our adult cat looked at. From the time we entered the door throughout our visit everyone expressed true compassion for the animals they were serving.
