Iron House Gym Jacksonville

There is definitely room for improvement… This was the first gym I signed up for in 2023 back when I was 300lb and wanted to improve my lifestyle. Because of this gym I was able to get down to 195lb and started to feel healthy again! The staff were great, people were friendly and it was a safe place to come workout. (2023-24) Due to work and personal reasons I started to visit the gym after business hours and stopped seeing the staff like before. Randomly, my monthly membership stopped being charged but I couldn’t get it corrected during working hours so I stopped visiting the gym until I could find time to resolve this. Long story short, I stopped by the location during operating hours and they said I needed to pay $4XX.xx to make up the missing charges. I explained I would have to cancel my membership as this wasn’t financially feasible and I didn’t use the gym since the card stopped being charged. Employee at the time (wish I got his name) was understanding but saw I was there from early days and offered to help in any way he could. Told me he will look into this and follow up with the number on file. From that point on there were no additional communication and/or charges so the resolution I was looking for had been agreed to. Fast forward to May 23, 2026, (with a new name now named Iron House) had charged me $817.64 This came out of the blue and so long after my last interaction where I was assured my problem had been dealt with. I of course called it in right away and Sebastian (made sure to write down the name this time) assured me that he spoke to the owner Chris and he would have this resolved right away! It is now June 3rd, and Richard of Iron House has told me to go to court in order to get the other half of the refund since he won’t honor the refund like Chris has said he would. It’s $400, I am confident this business can make it right I will be sure to update if that status changes

Iron House Gym is the real deal. I started coming here on a friend’s recommendation and I’m so glad I did. The equipment is well-maintained, the space is clean, and there’s always a solid atmosphere that actually makes you want to push harder. Staff is friendly without being overbearing, they’re there when you need them and let you do your thing otherwise. The community here is what really sets it apart; everyone is welcoming regardless of your fitness level. Pricing is fair for what you get. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense gym with good vibes in Jacksonville, look no further.

I’ve trained at ironhouse for almost 3 years and I’ve never trained at a gym with a more supportive, motivating, and all together tight knit positive community and it’s not even close. Seeing people lie and try and say that it’s not is really funny to me lol. If anyone is ever in the area and wants to go to a gym with GREAT equipment, super cool people, and a dope vibe this is def a olace worth checking out. And remember, don’t believe everything you hear from convicted felons people🤙🏽

Solid gym. Extensive range of equipment and dumbbells that go up to 200lbs. The owner Chris is very down to earth and you can see he cares about his gyms. The t-bar row here is probably one of the best that I’ve used personally. The only thing I’d recommend is to add, if possible, one or two more ab machines without involving hip flexion, as well as a Bulgarian squat stand. Other than that, this gym is perfect for serious lifters, whether that be powerlifting, or bodybuilding.
