I absolutely do not recommend this salon because I was misled throughout the process, and the final result was not what I asked for. I found this salon through an Instagram promotion advertising a $250 balayage with a haircut included for the 4th of July. Since I couldn’t come before the 4th of July, I was told they would still honor the promotion on July 9th. I was also told that including the haircut was a special accommodation for the $250 coupon, only to later find out that the promotion for a free haircut continued until August. I booked a balayage, but after I arrived, I was told highlights would be a better option. I trusted their recommendation, yet I was still charged for a balayage, which is reflected on my receipt. When I later asked about the price difference, I was told they had done me a favor because of the promotion, but I never received a clear explanation of the regular pricing. I also chose this salon because I was led to believe I would be working with a stylist who had extensive balayage experience. During my appointment, Jocelyn told me that she had only been working at the salon for about a month, which was not what I expected based on how the appointment was presented. I was very clear during my consultation that I did not want visible stripes or a “zebra” effect. After just one wash, the toner faded and the exact issue I wanted to avoid became obvious. I was asked to come back for a correction at a time that worked for the salon’s schedule, not mine, which required me to rearrange my own plans and take additional time away from work. Despite making that effort, the issue was still not fully resolved. I tried to handle this respectfully and privately. I requested only a partial refund in person, but it was denied. I then sent multiple follow-up messages and updated the owner about the remaining issues, but I received no response. I understand that mistakes can happen and that businesses deserve the opportunity to correct them, which is why I am not asking for a full refund. I believe my request for a partial refund is fair. The color after the correction looks better and appears more blended, but I have not washed my hair yet, so I do not know whether the toner will fade again after washing. I also still cannot comfortably wear my hair up because the lines on both sides remain visible. The first two pictures show my hair after the toner washed out. The third and fourth pictures show the result after the correction when my hair is pulled up, where the remaining lines are still visible. I wanted to support this business and truly hoped we could resolve this privately. Unfortunately, after my request was denied and my follow-up messages were ignored, I feel it is important to share my experience so other clients can make an informed decision. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER’S RESPONSE: What I find most concerning and alarming is that you are now publicly claiming the issue was caused by my aftercare, when you knew I waited the full 72 hours and used professional, sulfate-free Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo and Conditioner that I purchased after you explained how important proper aftercare was. Yet, when I contacted you about the fading, you acknowledged to me that the toner Jocelyn used was not what you would have chosen and that you wished she had added more babylights to blend the color better. It is extremely disappointing, and honestly shocking, to now see the facts presented in a way that shifts responsibility onto me. If you truly take pride in your artistry and integrity, sometimes the most professional response is simply to acknowledge when something did not go as planned and take responsibility for it. I stand by my review and my experience. I wish you the best as well, but after this experience and the way this situation has been handled, I have no intention of returning to your salon either.

My stylist Jocelyn is absolutely amazing. Shes attentive, precise and communicates with you through the whole process. My hair has turned out perfect both times I’ve had her do it, I couldn’t be happier! 100/10 reccomend Hair Unlimited and Jocelyn!!

I had balayage, root melt and cut beautifully done by Hailee. My first time with Hailee and the salon, and I had very positive experience. Hailee was considerate, knowledgeable and efficient with our time. I already booked my next appt with her. Highly recommend!
