I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after two separate transactions with this title company, I feel other agents and sellers should be aware of my experience. In both cases, the buyers selected and paid for title, which my sellers agreed to because the assumption is usually that it helps reduce seller closing costs. Unfortunately, the seller-side fees from this company were almost double what I typically see from other title companies in our market. My advice to any seller or listing agent is simple: request a full seller-side cost estimate upfront before agreeing. Another major challenge was communication. Throughout the transaction, there were at least five different people handling different parts of the file. Nearly every email response was “I copied so-and-so, they handle that.” Keeping track of who was responsible for what became unnecessarily complicated. Thankfully, I had a transaction coordinator helping manage communication, because getting clear answers often required going through multiple people. To be fair, the transactions did close on time. However, the process felt far more fragmented and difficult than it needed to be. My biggest concern came when I questioned the seller's closing fee on the settlement statement. (which I did miss how high it was on the first transaction) Before I received clarification or a response, a mobile notary was sent to my sellers and documents were signed before I had confirmation on whether the charges were correct or negotiable. Once signed, there was effectively no opportunity left to dispute the fees and no response to my inquiry ever came. Again, my recommendation to other agents and sellers is to ask detailed questions upfront, request estimated seller closing costs early, and make sure everyone understands the fee structure before moving forward. Everyone was nice enough, but I do think sellers need to understand what their costs will be before their offer is accepted and have the ability to negotiate those fees with the buyer if they are selecting this title company.
As a Realtor in Northeast Florida, I recently worked with Florida Closing Company on a home closing and it was easy from start to finish. Staff was friendly and responsive, and we closed right on time with zero surprises. If you're buying or selling in Florida and want a title company real estate professionals trust, I highly recommend them. #whoyouchoosematters #bobbiejeanrealtor
Florida closing company did a great job for us. They did everything exactly as they said they would. They were very responsive to any questions we had during the closing process. I would highly recommend them to anybody selling their home if you want peace of mind.
We had a very complicated and difficult closing. Deandra was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to help my sellers. I cannot say enough good things about her. Thank you for getting this file closed and handling us with professionalism. Blown away with FCC and with the care and concern for the sellers and buyers. Thank you!!!
Jessica was absolutely amazing assisting my buyers on closing day. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and calm, positive energy made the entire process seamless and stress-free. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled perfectly — I’m so grateful for her partnership and dedication to our clients’ success.
