I'm not one to ever write a review unless the services is exceptional or very very disappointing I had the very disappointing experience..me and my step daughter don't have alot of time together cause me and her dad works alot...so this was my one day off and so I wanted her to go to the pool Jefferson Pool Off 8th St. Didn't open until 1p.m. However Emmett Reed Pool was open at 11o'clock ..not really knowing the area my sister politely ask what time the pool open noticing the people we was asking had on lifeguard shirt however someone who didn't work there was the one that responded..SMH.. to go to a community pool ..saying again community pool and get treated with such disrespect and like I was bothering them and HELLO IT'S A COMMUNITY POOL .so it shouldn't have Ever been a problem..very disappointing for me when it was my first day off in 13 days Especially, with my stepdaughter! All I wanted was to go to the pool WithMy Family & Enjoy Our Day!..SHAME ON EMMET REED COMMUNITY POOL..Memories Matter
I love the partnership this park and facilities have with other nonprofits, such as Yoga4Change, to help ensure all have the opportunity to engage in healthy habits. There are also several playgrounds, a pool, and other health based organizations nearby.
Covid 19 testing by the health department. One of the few options to get test for free in Jacksonville. I went there on Tuesday morning. There was a short line outside. Once inside the gymnasium the line barely moved. There were just two people performing the tests. People did not keep social distances, nor they were advised to do it. It is sad how this covid situation is being handled.
My daughter went here for the camp in the summer and when I went to pick her up she cried in the car because she said the director of the camp was horrible with the children yelling and getting in faces of the children will not be coming back to this camp and wouldn’t recommend bringing you children here with this women here
