I had a Brazilian Blowout and haircut at this salon and unfortunately did not have a positive experience. From the start, I brought reference photos and clearly explained that I was trying to grow out previous over-thinning and wanted long layers with fullness and movement. I also shared concerns about my hair losing density easily. This is a look that a previous stylist had been able to achieve for me successfully, so I knew it was realistic for my hair type. About halfway through the appointment, the stylist began repeatedly telling me that my hair was “difficult” and that it was not going to turn out the way I wanted. Instead of adjusting the approach or working collaboratively, the tone became discouraging. When I became visibly upset, I overheard the stylist telling coworkers that I “just hate my hair,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially while I was still in the chair. The final result is significantly thinner than I requested, and the shape does not resemble the reference photos provided. I understand that not every hairstyle works for every hair type, but I expected professional communication, realistic consultation, and respectful treatment throughout the service. This experience left me feeling unheard and uncomfortable, and I hope the salon will take feedback like this seriously so future clients feel supported rather than dismissed. I’ve attached the pictures of my hair as it was done correctly by the previous stylist (who cut it right despite the over thinning, which I also told her), the reference used with him and this new stylist, and the picture of today’s haircut (polka dot top). Be wary of expecting more than great clips level work. I spent $120 and that was with a Groupon and not including tip. Which I decided to leave $10 simply for her time out of courtesy. Mind you this was supposedly marked down from $450 on the groupon website. Before you spend this kind of money at this location do your research.

My wife came home devastated and upon some research on the products used at this salon i don't blame her. They used Brazilian blowout, the brown bottle, and did not follow the standard treatment protocol for application, this left her hair unnecessarily heavy and flat for longer than needed given this modern treatment option. She asked for high face framing layers that held weight in the middle and got a conservative low layered cut that draws attentive downward on her already oval/ long face shape rather than to to get high cheekbones and eyes. She hasn't stopped crying in 4 hours. Based on her experience it sounds like they weren't listening to her at all, given that I paid for this service for her, that's the basis for my review.
