I’ve been getting straightening treatments keratin/ Brazilian blowouts by Judy at Compliments for a few years. She is easy to talk to, a very hard worker, and she does a great job. One of the best things is that if you want an early morning appointment she will do it for you. Judy is great!

I’ve been going to Andrea for my hair care and maintenance for roughly a decade now, and this is actually the second Compliments Salon location I’ve followed her to. That alone should say a lot. Not only does she take great care of my hair, but she’s also done several friends’ and family members’ hair over the years as well. I’ve recommended multiple people to her, including a few guy friends, and I’ve genuinely never heard anyone leave unhappy. One thing I really appreciate about Andrea is her honesty. I can come to her with inspiration photos or ideas, and she’ll realistically explain the best way to achieve the look while still maintaining the health of my hair. If something seems too harsh or damaging, she’ll tell you — and then help create a game plan to safely get you where you want to be over time instead of compromising your hair just for a quick result. I truly value that level of professionalism and care. Andrea has well over 15 years of experience, and it shows. She’s knowledgeable, talented, easy to talk to, and her pricing is very reasonable — which is honestly hard to find these days. I’ve also seen Andrea for an updo once when I graduated college and she did an amazing job of styling my hair around the hat I had to wear. If you were wondering if she’s multifaceted - she sure is! If you’re looking for a hairstylist who genuinely cares about her clients and their hair health, Andrea is your girl. Highly recommend! *Just look for a cute & bubbly dark headed Venezuelan girlie. So obviously Andrea is bilingual. (English & Spanish) which is a huge plus that allows her to connect with an even wider range of clients btw.

Wynter is amazing. My hair suddenly went form straight to wavy / curly so I coudn't tell her what I wanted in a cut becaue--I had no idea! She walked me through it and, well, now I know what I want--exactly what she created. I've now been back for my second cut and love it just as much. I got quite a few compliments on the first cut. I think this time, she refined it and it's even better. She kept asking questions and making suggestions through the process the first time, and this time she did the same but kind of focused on whether things worked well or needed to be tweaked.

My wife got tattooed powdered eyebrows with Clara and said she wish I had done it sooner. Clara took time to map out her brows to match her face shape, she also showed my wife the exact shape and nothing was done until my wife approved it. She even discussed how facial expressions can effect how eyebrows look, which was taken into consideration and discussed during the mapping out process. Right after the appointment, the brows looked a bit darker, but when Clara discussed the after care with my wife she said that was completely normal. Her eye brows look very natural now. My wife claims it’s a huge time-saver and confidence booster. We would definitely recommend  a skilled, licensed artist like Clara —results are amazing. Overall: 10/10, totally worth it.
