It is accessible 24/7, great prices on the pre workouts. The gym is clean with working equipment and ac units which is not common for all Chuze locations. Well ran for sure
I was greeted instantly when walking through the door with warm welcome from all crew members. I came in today, looking to get a new membership and Jeremy at front desk was willing to give me a tour of the whole place without asking. He gave great detail and insight on each area of the gym and it’s amenities. I ended up making the membership and took advantage of all the amenities that was given to me. Without a doubt, 10/10 would recommend.
⭐☆☆☆☆ My experience with this location was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. The issue started with a billing problem. A manager named Aiden told me that my annual fee had been charged by mistake, that it wasn’t due until a later date, and that the club would correct my account within a week. I relied on that information. When I returned to the gym, no one acknowledged what I had been told, and I was treated as if the conversation had never happened. I repeatedly told the General Manager that I wanted to pay whatever balance I legitimately owed and asked several times for the total amount due. Instead of telling me my balance so I could resolve the issue, I was told to leave. Shortly afterward, my membership was revoked. I contacted corporate hoping they would conduct an impartial review. While they responded, most of my concerns were never actually addressed. They focused almost entirely on one aspect of the incident while ignoring why the dispute began in the first place, why I had been given incorrect information by a manager, and why I was never allowed to pay the balance I repeatedly asked for. Customer service is about accountability, communication, and treating people with respect. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those things here. From the front desk staff to management and ultimately customer support, I felt my concerns were dismissed instead of genuinely investigated. Another issue that prospective members should know is the “24-hour” membership. Although the gym itself is open 24 hours, many of the amenities are not. The massage chairs, basketball court, and several other amenities are unavailable overnight, and even the steam room closes around midnight. If you’re paying for a 24-hour membership expecting full access to everything at any time, that’s not how it works. I’m no longer interested in being a member. My purpose in writing this review is simply to share my experience so others can make an informed decision before signing up.
Don’t let the “24-hour gym” advertising fool you. Yes, the building is open 24 hours, but many of the amenities are not. The massage chairs, basketball court, and several other amenities close at 10:00 p.m., and even the steam room closes around midnight. If you’re paying extra expecting full 24-hour access to everything the gym offers, that’s simply not the case. Customer service is another major disappointment. In my experience, the staff can be unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful when handling member concerns. Instead of taking the time to listen and resolve issues, they often make you feel like your concerns don’t matter. There are plenty of gyms that value their members and provide better customer service. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking at other options before choosing this location.
As a long time lifter (30 years) I have been to all of the gym. I started in my middle school gym for wrestling back in the 1900s with rusty bars and cement filled plastic “plates”. Got the job done and I was even able to study some earth science memorizing all the various spiders that lived in the nooks and crannies. All I can say is if you need motivation on your bench just have a spider land in your forehead. Haha. Next was the YMCA (it’s everything you’d expect while also being nothing you’d expect at the same time). Next was World Gym which I liked a lot. At least the location I went to was brand new so I got to be there from day 1. It had all the new fancy equipment, really nice locker rooms, and attracted bigger more advanced men that I could learn from. Should have stayed there. Next I went through a high end executive club gym phase thinking I could use it to network. Not for me. Then I tried a warehouse CrossFit gym which was actually really fun but also very specific. Group workouts were great for the first few months but then I needed more freedom to make up my own workouts. After that I decided to build my own home gym which was great for a while but it became a bit boring and lonely after a while. I may be harshly judged for saying it but there is just something about the subtle competitiveness of being around other people lifting that gives me a boost. So I found myself back on the lookout for another gym to join. I tried several before landing at Chuze. They have a friendly, knowledgeable, and inviting staff. Plenty of parking. Good light and very clean. Plenty of equipment. The protein shake bar at the front desk is awesome! Great all around gym for beginners and advanced gym heads alike. This is where I train for my iron man comps, Deka Fits, and just for general fitness. Only con - no steam room
