I have been going to this gym for almost a year, and Brad and Gianna do an outstanding job managing the staff and creating a welcoming environment. The team is always friendly, professional, and quick to greet members when coming and going. The facility is clean, well maintained, and has a great atmosphere. One of the things I appreciate most is the kids club. The staff does a wonderful job caring for my daughter while I work out, which gives me great peace of mind. That level of customer service really sets this location apart. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a welcoming, family-friendly environment, and I’m excited to see the upcoming renovations!
Great equipment, great free weight, locker room is pretty good. The staff and Sweat PT is amazing. No A/C currently, rumors have been spreading that it's the landowners fault, that Chuze is waiting for the lease to end and go somewhere else, another one is that they're staying but need new lease agreements for landowners responsibility vs business, and on and on. Wish there was more transparency on what's going on and if Chuze is moving, where? The only gym in Mandarin worth working out at really. Hope it doesnt leave.
June 2026 —— No AC in gym 4 weeks AGAIN/ Worst run gym/ Mgnt doesn’t address facility issue / Corp is ignoring this facility/ Go Some place else / this place dump Facility is a worn out / equipment worn out / Don’t waste your $ here. It’s Dec 28th 2025, now been 2 weeks with no AC in gym, worn out equipment, worn out facility & all around bad place. Continuing lack of attention to this facility. Don’t waste your time joining for 2026, it’s a dump. Well here we are 3 months later, roof still leaks & equipment is old/ worn out. 8/24@6pm the ceiling tiles fell out from water damage due leaking roof. I Never recommend this place, you would expect Chuze leadership to take immediate action to get better facility & equipment. My expectations were Chuze leadership would invest in this facility & equipment. The facility is horrible, the roof leaks, the AC doesn’t work in men’s locker room. This week after a rainstorm, over the cable machines, roof was leaking on me during workout. The equipment is old & worn out, often broken / under repair. Have ask leadership to get additional / new nautilus adjustable incline benches for 2 yrs. Nothing.
Can we all talk about AC not being fixed for TWO month now? Respectfully I have never heard about the repair that took that long. When Chuze bought it out they raised the fees and promised the red light and better recovery stations. It’s been two years and non of those promises came to life. It is still THE MOST OUTDATED GYM IN THE WHOLE FLORIDA!!! I’ve been a member of Baylis for 5 years before they got sold out and they have never treated their members so horribly. I had called this location before I went to work out multiple times to see when the AC would be fixed. And guess what?! They told me to call the corporate because they don’t know. Can we, the members, have the AC or don’t you think we pay enough to have at least that? When are we having the recovery satiations? It’s been 2 years? Two more years? Do we have a timeframe? Is this location getting shut down. Maybe reimbursing your members for waiting for two years for recovery stations and two months of no AC would be a good faith move? Of course if you care. However that’s not something Chuze would do? Would they?!!!
As of yesterday the AC is not working. For those of you reading and I’m thinking you’re all hard and you don’t need AC in June in this state, you’ve never been to the Middle East and it shows. I don’t live that life anymore, and I certainly won’t pay to. Prior to that the place is a mess, and it has been since it stopped being Bailey’s. Ceiling tiles, falling, machines constantly broken, and the whole system used to get inside is inconvenient and stupid. The only decent thing about this place is the former Bailey’s employees that somehow have hung on. This is a California based company now and no one should be surprised. Beach Blvd location is pretty great but is so far away. As soon as something comparable opens in St. John’s County, I’m dumping this place. After many years.
