I cannot say enough positive things about the care I received at this urgent care center. I came in with a sprained ankle and was treated with kindness, compassion, and genuine concern from the moment I arrived. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Everyone was patient, attentive, and took the extra time to check on me and make sure I had what I needed. The level of care and empathy they showed truly meant so much during a stressful and painful moment. I especially want to recognize the radiological technician, Alpha who helped me all the way to my car. That was far beyond what was required of him, but he took the initiative to make sure I was safe and didn’t have to struggle on my own. That small act of kindness made a huge impression and showed the true character of the people working there. I am incredibly grateful for the extra care and compassion I received. It’s not often you encounter a healthcare team that makes you feel truly cared for, and this staff did exactly that. Thank you for treating me with such kindness and going the extra mile when I needed it most.
This past Saturday morning, I went to local Care Spot because I had multiple ant bites on my left foot. I made an appointment online and I was seen within an hour. The nurse and doctor on staff were super knowledgeable and treated me as fast as they could. I did have to wait a little longer than usual inside the treatment room because there were two other emergencies. While I waited, the nurse iced my foot and I received my steroid shot as soon as they were able to give it to me. They also filled my prescriptions at my local pharmacy, and soon as I on my way. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait for the weekday to see my primary care physician. I, honestly wouldn’t have made it. I’m highly allergic to ant bites. I’m thankful to have a Care Spot right around the corner. I highly recommend them for all of your urgent care needs. I’m sorry that I didn’t take a photo of my swollen red foot and toes.
I had a great experience at CareSpot. I stopped by during my lunch break to get a TB blood test, and the entire visit was quick and efficient. Jonah at the front desk was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I walked in. He made the check-in process smooth and was very professional. Danielle drew my blood for the test, and she was amazing. She was gentle, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. I really appreciated how kind and efficient she was. Thank you both for making what could have been a stressful appointment such a positive experience. I highly recommend this CareSpot location!
I will never return to this CareSpot. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to receive her required 7th-grade vaccination. We had previously used a CareSpot in 2020 after moving here, and our vaccinations were handled through our insurance, so I expected a similar experience. My husband took our daughter to the appointment. He was told it was “self-pay” and that the cost would be $75 for a single vaccination. Like most people, he is not familiar with medical billing terminology and did not understand that “self-pay” meant the visit would not be billed to our insurance. Had that been clearly explained, we would have declined the visit and gone somewhere that accepted our insurance, since preventive vaccinations are covered at 100% under our plan. After he paid, I asked him to get a receipt. He actually had to go back into the office because they couldn’t email one. The receipt simply showed a $75 payment with no itemization whatsoever. When I called the office to request an itemized receipt so I could submit it to my insurance for reimbursement, the front desk employee was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. She told me there was no way to provide an itemized receipt showing what the $75 charge covered. I have never experienced a medical office that could not provide an itemized receipt for services rendered. The lack of transparency regarding billing, the inability to provide basic documentation, and the poor customer service made this an incredibly frustrating experience. Patients deserve to understand how they are being charged before they agree to treatment, and they should be able to obtain an itemized receipt upon request. We will not be returning, and I would encourage anyone seeking vaccinations to verify exactly how the visit will be billed before receiving services.
I was recently seen for a workplace injury, and I wanted to share feedback about my experience. The medical assistant and nurse, Stephanie, truly saved the day and made my visit a positive one. They were professional, compassionate, and provided excellent patient care. I would rate them 5 stars. Unfortunately, my interactions with Jonah were quite the opposite. When I called ahead to confirm that the facility accepted workers' compensation patients, he was unpleasant and rude. Upon arriving for my appointment, I experienced the same behavior. He came across as rude, unkind, and lacking the interpersonal skills necessary for working with the public. While waiting, I also observed his interactions with other patients, and it was disappointing to see. Patients deserve to be treated with kindness, respect, and compassion, especially when they are seeking medical care. Based on my experience, I would give Jonah 1 star, while the rest of the staff earned 5 stars for their outstanding service.
