We workout about six days a week using the weight room and cardio. It’s good enough for what we need. Newer machines would be great but what they have works. Lots of classes going on all day and people seem to enjoy them. Better than sitting in a couch. Come on in people and get your body moving! Very affordable for my family of four and being retired Army.
Solid gym for getting a good workout in. They offer a nice range of amenities, including a pool and a KidZone where kids can stay while you work out. The equipment selection is strong, and everything is spread out well, so it feels comfortable and not overcrowded.
They will post in the app if the pool is closed or a class is cancelled, but they can’t bother communicate if the kid zone is closed. So you will manage to get your kids in the car, drive 35 min with gas at $4/gallon. Unbuckle all your kids, manage to make it across the parking lot and be told the kid zone is closed. So now you tell your kids sorry you can’t play and I can’t workout, so you make the track home. This is the second time in 2 weeks that we couldn’t use the kid zone. I’m personally never going back. With the family membership cost what it is, they need to communicate better.
The YMCA has such a special place in my heart! 💪❤️ As a mom, finding time to take care of myself can be a challenge, and having a place where I can work out while Bella enjoys the child care means so much to me. I love having that time to move my body, clear my head, and focus on my own goals. Whether I’m feeling motivated or have to give myself a little push to get through the doors, making time for a workout is something I’m glad I did. It gives me a chance to step away from the daily routine and do something that supports both my physical and emotional well-being. But the child care is a huge part of what makes the YMCA so valuable to me. Behind every mom finding time to exercise, there is often someone helping make that time possible! Being able to bring Bella along makes working out more manageable, and I appreciate having that support. As much as I love being a mom, I also need moments to recharge and invest in myself. Having exercise and child care in the same place makes those moments easier to fit into our lives. It helps me make my health a priority while still being close to my daughter. What I love most is that going to the Y feels like something that fits our family. I get time to work toward feeling stronger and healthier, and Bella has a place to spend time while I do it. That combination is something I truly appreciate. So much love and gratitude for the YMCA and the people who make its child care possible. You help give parents the time and space to take care of themselves, and that makes a meaningful difference. For this mama, it means a lot! 🥰🏋️♀️
I joined this fitness center a few weeks back and it’s been a pretty solid experience so far. The place is clean most of the time, and the equipment is in decent shape, which matters to me. Staff at the front desk are polite and usually quick to help if you have a question. It can get a little busy during evening hours, but I’ve still been able to finish my workouts without much waiting. The trainers seem knowledgeable and don’t push too hard, which I like. Locker rooms are fine, not fancy but they get the job done. Overall, it feels like a reliable gym where you can focus on your routine without too much hassle.
