I have two Cane Corsos (Gucci and Prada), and I always get nervous taking them to the vet. This was my first time with them, and I can say that from the very beginning, the administrative staff, like the vet's assistant and the vet himself, did a great job with my dogs. I realized they know how to handle the temperament of a large dog, and the assistant drew blood from my dogs so quickly they didn't even notice. 100% recommended.
Truly the best! The entire office staff and both doctors are so caring and loving. I stopped by recently for my elderly dog to pick up medicine and the whole crew took time and chatted with me about how he is doing AND checked on me and my spouse to see how we are doing. We’ve trusted them with the care of both of our elderly dogs, one has since passed and they handled his end of life care with such grace. We have since had a new fur baby addition and they are providing the always excellent service for him as well. Cannot recommend them high enough!
Dr Hightman and his staff are the best! I have been taking my pets to his clinic for more than 15 years. They treat you like family and ensure that your pets are given the best care. Dr Hightman’s holistic approach is unbelievable and extraordinary!
I had a bad experience with the disgusting lady who is at the reception which is very annoying that they discriminate against you for not speaking the language well and it is not my fault that she is having a bad day for which her job is to provide customer service and be kind the problems of the house they stay at home at work you must be another better person she shouted and threw my phone when I put the translator it is disgusting a lady already elderly behaving like a teenager
I wish I could leave more than 5 stars because everyone at Brentwood Animal Clinic is incredible. Dr. Hightman is knowledgeable in traditional Chinese medicine in addition to veterinary medicine and has decades of experience. When a prior vet told me it would take a huge chunk of change to diagnose a mole on my dog, Dr Hightman gave me a natural remedy that cost about $10. Later, when my dog developed cancer, the clinic was always able to squeeze me in for an appointment when an issue arose. My dog LOVED this place! Oftentimes I'd have to bribe her with a treat to get back into the car haha. She knew that everyone there loved her too (and had access to yummy treats!) This is by far the best veterinary practice in Jacksonville.
