I really didn't come to the Bait Shop, but google thinks I did. We came here to just enjoy the beautiful weather, the view of the waterfront atmosphere, and good company to listen to some tunes, and relax. That's all we did. We brought ourselves some snacks, drinks, and a mini speaker (keeping it civilized 🤣) and we're here for over 4 hours.
Great place to launch your boat with easy access to the St. Johns River. They have several boat ramps here which is a good thing because it's a very popular spot. On the recommendation of a friend we launched our kayak from here. Not sure what the heck he was thinking. My guess is he was there early in the day before things got too busy. It's a beautiful place though!
Friendly little marina for power and sailboats. Well stocked bait shop where you can get bait, fuel, snax, gear and ice. Owner is super friendly. Lots of good characters hang out here. Its kind of like Cheers for boaters . Slip prices are decent. Caught a pic of our boat just as the moon rose over the mast.
Local easy, everything you need easy in easy out, local store bait shop and tribal knowledge. Love talking to them, always helpful plus a great way to enjoy watching boats going in and out for cheap entertainment. Very chill and relaxing area.
Great place to get fresh bait, especially if you want live bait. Not too far from rodman dam. Very convenient
