Aura Massage

New to the area and been eyeing this place for a nice massage for while and I been having a long week so I just walked in today and she fit me in last minute at 6:30. I wasn't clear with confirming the appointment but she still went out of her way to accommodate me. It was very nice inside smelled good and had a super calming energy. The place is very unsuspecting, some other places try to be over the top with thier decor and marketing, but lack the substance. I have tried many massage people over the years ranging from well known companies to a couple of personal masseuses due to my back/ neck pain and these ladies are the best with an unbeatable price. The ladies are very sweet and are very strong!! No pretentious energy just pure technique, talent, and hard work. I didn't even need to say where my tight areas were in my shoulder and neck lower back that have been bothering me for years she automatically could tell. She used many techniques like rolling the muscles with her fore arm, using knuckles for smaller areas like shoulder blades, pinching the muscles near the base of the neck, some great stretches, and other fantastic techniques. She started with helping the muscle release from my spine which was fantastic. It is very nice that she warmed up the area she will massage on your back before hand with a hot towel, they are detailed and strategic in thier order of operations. Always making sure I was comfortable and ok with the pressure, a lot of people go too light but she gave perfect pressure. I could go on and on but I can't believe I found such a great place nearby! Try them out!!! You will not be dissatisfied!!! Thank you ladies you made my weekend and can't wait to try some acupuncture!!! ❤️

My boyfriend and I walked for a couples massage and it was wonderful! Tina and Lilly did an amazing job! We left satisfied and relaxed. The massage was a perfect pressure and we added the hot stones. Just what we needed after a stressful week at work.

Such a wonderful experience while traveling. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was excellent, and it honestly felt like a little pocket of peace in the middle of being away from home. Would absolutely come back next time I’m in town.

Unfortunately cannot concur with all the positive remarks this place has. 2 stars for the price point being competitive, but overall everything else was a bust. To begin with there’s nothing warm or inviting about this place. I brushed it off as a language barrier, but where my problem lies is that I explicitly told “Nancy” at the very beginning before my mom received her massage that she does not like anything hot since she has sensitive skin as she is diabetic so no cupping or hot stones, just a regular massage. Fast forward I come back to pick up my mom to hear the lady yelling at my mom to give her a bigger tip because she gave my mom a free $10 service. I ask what service, she said “hot stone”…. Okay. So I explicitly said no heat and you do it anyways… So then I ask my mom what happened and my mom tells me she told her no and to stop but she did it anyways… so long story short besides the obvious disrespect and overall disregard of consent, she tried to pressure and guilt us under the guise of providing a “free service” for a bigger tip..? I walked in expecting to see my mom relaxed and refreshed from her little spa day, but instead come into hearing this lady berating my mom and then upon further discussion that also disregarded her consent… Now onto the topic of tipping since there seems to be a lack of understanding. Tipping culture is based on several factors- service provided/ quality of work, professionalism, and hospitality. With this place you pay before you even receive the service so I tipped 16% -a standard baseline tip. If I came back and my mom told me it was a good experience/can’t complain 18%, a great experience 20% -industry standard for checking all the boxes. And if they were friendly and hospitable- made the experience somewhat memorable (in a good way) then the cherry on top 22%… that is the typical standard tipping procedure. This place did not check any of the boxes for an increase tip above baseline, and frankly after that encounter deserves nothing more than paying for the service itself, but I’m not that kind of person fortunately for them. I will just not come back. I only briefly kept the business card for this review to reference the masseuse’s name.
