Extremely misleading billing practices — get everything in writing I am extremely disappointed with the billing transparency at Atlas Physical Therapy. After my daughter injured her knee, I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment. Knowing that they were out of my insurance network and that my plan has a deductible, I specifically asked for the exact upfront out-of-pocket cost per visit before committing. I was explicitly quoted $150 for the initial evaluation and $100–$110 for the follow-up session. Based on that clear quote, we completed the two appointments, which consisted solely of basic exercise demonstrations and routine guidance. Weeks later, I was blindsided by surprise additional bills far exceeding the agreed-upon amount. When I questioned this, their billing department left a voicemail completely backpedaling on what was quoted, claiming they "never provide a set amount upfront" and deflecting all responsibility onto the insurance deductible and Florida "anti-kickback law” If a provider quotes a specific rate for an out-of-network visit, they should honor it rather than using misleading estimates and retroactively billing exorbitant amounts. For simple exercise instruction, this level of hidden charging and zero accountability is completely unacceptable. Be very cautious and demand everything in writing before stepping through their doors.

I went to Atlas Physical Therapy thinking I was going to get a massage. Instead, I received twice a week, for six weeks, physical therapy. Dr. Jack Bosma told me that a massage will only temporarily relieve the symptoms, not the fundamental source of my problems. By the end of the course of treatment, my body was in better shape, my strength and endurance had measurably increased, and I generally felt better. I highly recommend Atlas Physical Therapy for their kind and helpful staff and specifically Dr. Jack for his professionalism, compassion and desire to radically improve my wellbeing! Excellent care, I went to Atlas for knee replacement therapy. I treated with Jack who I had an outstanding experience with. I had an issue with the progression of my knee, unrelated to my PT. Jack managed my care, provided sound advice, provided PT reports to my surgeon, and sure enough I am doing great! I couldn’t be more happy with my result!
