STARS Rehab Physical Therapy

I’ve been to the Stars in Saint Augustine. Irena is the best therapist! Not only does she focus on helping you rehabilitate but her skill at communicating and her aid at adjusting the routine to suit each person’s needs and abilities is stellar. Irena always makes her client feel important and explains things in a professional manner making the client instantly at ease. I’d recommend Irena to anyone that wants to not only reach your goals rehab wise but also has the skill and communication that lets you know you matter!

I’ve just completed a successful course of shoulder therapy with Anthony Raposelli at Stars Rehab South Clinic. Anthony has a very warm and caring personality and gave me undivided attention during my sessions. He gave careful consideration to all my feedback and found work-arounds for any limitations I encountered. He helped me to distinguish the difference between pain and discomfort and to stop effort just before pain begins. My goal was to take advantage of the pain relief provided by steroid injections to strengthen my shoulders in therapy so that when the shots wore off, I could remain active and comfortable and avoid shoulder replacement. It was frustrating for a while as the steroids waned and discomfort rose, but Anthony urged me to be patient and keep working. Eventually, with my learned skills, adaptations, and Anthony’s knowledge and patience, I turned a corner and can now perform my activities without pain. I am extremely grateful to Anthony for his wonderful efforts on my behalf, and I will miss his warm and fun personality. The Stars facility is immaculate, bright, and cheerful, and the office staff are efficient and friendly. I’ve been through 3 other rehabs in St. Augustine and would only recommend Stars!

I have had great experiences at Stars, seeking help for two different injuries over the last few years. I worked with Irina both times. She was excellent and helped me get back to 100%. She is medically strong, providing good insight into the nature of the injuries. She was attentive, designed a physical therapy program that was very helpful, and paced my rehab appropriately. I would highly recommend Stars to anyone in need of physical therapy services.
