There's no question about the quality but do ask about the price as it can be high enough to not warrant the investment unless your shoes are special to you. That's not to say that they are necessarily overpriced because when you consider the time and know-how that's put in to the repair, it can be very fair.
Didn’t realize they can fix so many other items besides shoes. I have an older Kiteboard impact vest and the zipper was broken and corroded from the salt water. I tried two different tailors who said they couldn’t help but one of them recommended Atkinson shoe repair. A few days later and for less than 1/3rd the price of a new vest, it is working again. One less item to throw away and replace.
This is not just shoe repair. This team of leather artisans are experts at everything shoes, heels, bags. I have been taking my things to them for years and I trust them implicitly. They are worth every single dollar. This is the latest repair, new soles on these heels. They will last forever now. The workmanship is second to none.
Disappointed. I brought a belt that needed to be shortened. They shortened it from the wrong end. The 3 changes we discussed during the consultation were not followed. Now that it’s been altered you can’t undo. I can only assume that the person I spoke with was not the one doing the work.
I went into Atkinson Shoe Repair to fix a brand new pair of Allen Edmonds that I scratched badly, and made worse through improper shining. They had an incredibly fast turn around and the shoes came back looking better than when I first got them. They were kind, thoughtful, and earned by business for life.
