I just wanted to take a moment to share my experience with this clinic. When I called because my baby developed an ear infection, my regular vet was unable to get her in for over seven days. I was worried about having to wait that long, so I reached out to this clinic to see if they could help. From the very first phone call, the staff was incredibly warm, kind, and willing to help. They were able to accommodate my baby and get her scheduled for the very next day, which I truly appreciated. Thankfully, my regular veterinarian later called and was able to fit her into an opening, so I ended up keeping her appointment with them and did not need to go to this clinic after all. However, I still wanted to take the time to recognize how helpful and compassionate this clinic was when I was in a stressful situation. Even though I didn’t ultimately use their services, their willingness to help on such short notice and the kindness they showed over the phone really stood out to me. Thank you for being there when I needed help! 🐾❤️

Not only did they make time same day to see my pup but everyone was incredibly friendly from reception through the Dr. They were incredibly patient with my dog who was going through it and made sure he felt as calm as possible. They explained everything for me and was incredibly patient while I asked my questions and answered all of them with lots of patience and most importantly to me, without being condescending or arrogant (as I've found most vets/drs can be).

My dog has been going here for the last 3 years and we love Oceanway. My boy is reactive so the employees are super helpful & understanding in making both of us feel safe. He always warms up to them by the end of the appointment and Jessica is always a huge help. We won’t ever go anywhere else or at least, we go wherever Jessica goes :)

I typically would say this place is great but lately I’m beginning to become annoyed. Both my girls got diagnosed with hook worms and we paid extra for the hook work treatment (over $200). The bottle I was given said “1.5 tablets two times” or something similar. I was only given 1.5 pills for each dog. I figured maybe it was an oversight so I called and was told to pick up the rest. And imagine my surprise when I was charged for it! I respect that they have to pay for medicine, but when I paid for hook worm treatment you would expect that I was paying for the whole treatment. Honestly when I complained about it I just felt dismissed like I was out of line for suggesting that this should have been given to me during the initial visit, and not have cost me an additional $140. I just spent $1300 for both dogs (with shots and what not), and an additional $200 and something for the hook worm treatment - which isn’t too crazy but also not cheap. I always tell them to do the ‘good’ bloodwork, yet I never get told what the results are. I was so happy to find this vet because they have electronic records which was important to me at the time. For some reason this annoyed the living crap out of me today. I don’t want to ruin their rating here , because I do appreciate the staff, but lately I’m just feeling unappreciated , overcharged, and under served. If the vet tech, Jessica - wasn’t so nice ,helpful and friendly I’d be looking for another vet.
