I absolutely love Dr. Flood. Is Animal Care at TLC the cheapest vet out there? No. But you would be hard pressed to find a more caring vet who takes time to know you and your pet(s). Dr. Flood was amazing when I had to put my fur babies down - caring, informative, and no pressure to do expensive treatments that were not promising. I currently have a new pet and would not take her anywhere else. I will be with them until Dr. Flood retires!

When Zoe became a member of our family we , of course, took her to see Dr Flood as soon as we could she was very malnourished She was a little baby and my hero doctor put her on iv’s for 21/2 days and saved her life Now 91/2 years later she was having a problem relieving herself so I rushed her to the good doctor After examining her he determined she had a twisted stomach, my words, and a build up of fluids He corrected the problem and now 4 days later she is acting like a pup again He saved her life again What a knowledgeable professional who goes way above and beyond Without a doubt, the most considerate, professional, and caring, veterinarian that I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with. From the moment you walk in to the time that you see Dr. Flood till your check out, they couldn’t be more professional. I initially began this review typing out, in great detail, our experience as first-time customers and our 13 year old feline patient. I changed my mind. Here is what you need to know: the staff is friendly. Dr. Flood is verbose and I’m now convinced he exploited our pain and vulnerability for money. The original quote I was given was $660, which is expensive for an exam, on-site bloodwork that was done in minutes, and a urine and fecal dip test. By the time we left, the final bill was over $1000. He told us he would not charge us for the additional, daily stop ins for the administration of fluids, however upon check out, that changed to $56 per visit and they were only waiving the disposal fee. They gave our dying cat an enema, then sent us home with her. We had her in a crate, so by the time we got home, our poor dear had multiple bowel movements and was covered in feces, which we had to spend hours cleaning. Hours because a bath would have caused too much additional stress, which she did not deserve. We found another vet online. She is mobile. She will come to your home to treat your beloved pet and she isn’t extorting money from us in our time of grief and pain.
