Cat Clinic is truly the best clinic I have ever experienced. They have an incredibly deep knowledge of cats—their health, their lives, and truly understanding them. Every time I faced a problem, whenever my cats had any issue, Cat Clinic always managed to resolve everything, even in just one visit. Today, just like always, they showed kindness and compassion to my beautiful cat, Bonnie. My Bonnie went to heaven today and has started her new life. I am at peace knowing she is no longer in pain. I also want to thank Cat Clinic for their patience and understanding. I was not in a good condition, and I didn’t have the strength to make decisions, but they stood by me with care and support. Thank you for everything.
I absolutely love Dr. Rogers and everyone at A Cat Clinic. They are always friendly, compassionate, and truly care about both their patients and their owners. Dorothy and Lyndsey deserve a special thank-you for their kindness and the way they always make us feel welcome. Dr. Rogers is incredibly thorough and takes the time to explain everything clearly. One thing I especially appreciate is that they understand veterinary care can be expensive. They make recommendations for blood work and other tests when appropriate, but I’ve never felt pressured or made to feel guilty if I chose to wait or decline a recommended test. They respect your decisions while still providing excellent care and guidance. I highly recommend A Cat Clinic to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate veterinary team that genuinely puts the well-being of cats and their owners first.
TLDR: Best vet ever! This is literally the best veterinarian I have ever been to. Once I got an appointment, I brought my 11 year old cat, Teemo in for a senior exam. Dr. Rogers was extremely personable, she got on the floor and held Teemo in a blanket while she did the exam. I have *never* seen a vet get on an animal's comfort level like that before! Usually, they just toss them on an exam table and scruff them down. Not here. Dr. Rogers answered all of my questions thoroughly. We then scheduled a dental exam, which went great. I was very nervous about anesthetic, but they calmed me down, and the procedure proceeded without a hitch. Without the sights, sounds and smells of dogs around, I noticed that my cat was significantly more calm than he usually is at the vet's office. Also, the decor is of course all cat-themed, and very inviting. Teemo even got a little goodie bag afterwards. Their prices are very reasonable and comparable to other vet's. All of the receptionists, techs, and nurses I have interacted with have all gone above and beyond for both my cat, and I as a client. Your kitty gets a peacock feather to take home on their first visit. They are always attentive with their phones, and you even get a detailed, hand written exam email with a full explanation of the visit and findings. I really cannot recommend this establishment any more than I already have. You may have to get on a waiting list as a new patient, but that's because it's *worth* it! Make the call.
I just moved to Jacksonville and went here when my cat had a suspected UTI from the move. Is this the cutest place ever for cat lovers??? All the decor and exam rooms are set up for cats. And they have ostrich feathers in the room to play with your cat. The vet and the tech actually sat on the floor with my cat to examine her. And we’re so nice about offering options with consideration of budget. The vet and everyone was so nice.
They have a young cat panting, eyes dilated hanging outside the door in 100 degree heat that I guess one of the girls is eventually trying to take home, which is great. The front desk girl told me they are just feeding him everyday trying to get him to be less scared, so they can pick him up. I offered to trap the cat so they can get it out of the heat & take home asap. She said “we’ll let you know if anything changes” ummm… ok? So keep the poor cat out in this heat. Doesn’t seem like a “Cat Community” kind of approach.
