I had family in the emergency room and we were waiting for them and while we did we decided to go into zest for something to eat. I had the roasted vegetable flatbread and it was amazing! They are artistically decorated the flatbread with a mix of vegetables, basil pesto and a balsamic reduction. It hit the spot and was great. Comfort food and all the staff were super friendly and fun. I even saw one dancing a little bit to the music that was in the cafe. They will feed you and cheer you up. And just outside is the wonderful Mayo atrium where you can wait where it is peaceful and you can watch the waterfall outside the window.
I came here to grab a bite to eat after a visit with my family member. Christina and Robert made the environment very welcome and chill, it was very helpful to cheer me up. I ordered a flatbread and it was absolutely delicious, and perfectly made. They were both very kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. Definitely keepers!
Good thing I was mainly killing time and not really hungry. It was orange chicken, well, supposedly. It equated to a container 3/4 filled with dry white rice, and a fairly small scoop of dried chunks of chicken slathered in a sticky sauce. For $10.75, I’ll not be back.
My wife and I make a point of visiting Zest whenever we are at Mayo. The food is always delicious and there is a nice selection to suit most any taste. We especially appreciate the fresh, crispy salads! The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and comfortable not only in terms of the facility’s layout but in particular the outstanding service provided by employees. For example, Kailyn exemplifies what it means to provide professional service in an efficient manner. She always does so in a way that makes patrons feel valued and welcome. In a fast paced environment this could be challenging yet Kaylin makes it look easy. Then again, in Kaylin’s case it really is no surprise. After all, that’s what professionals do. Highly recommend that anyone visiting the Mayo Clinic stop by Zest and enjoy the great food and pleasant atmosphere!
The bacon egg and cheese is genuinely the best I’ve ever had. Coffee also delicious. I keep coming back for it. Dalvin, the manager, and the front of house employees provided excellent guest service.
