As the publisher of San Marco Neighbors Magazine I walked into the store to talk about the magazine with Brandon Boudreaux, the owner. After just a few minutes I realized that I was talking with someone special. Someone who knew what they were talking about, and what a nice man. I left with two bottles of wine! We’ve just tasted a glass from one of the bottles, a Walter Scott La Combe Verte 2024 Chardonnay with a mussel and shrimp dish my wife cooked up with a tomato cream sauce. The wine is incredible! The aroma is lemony zesty and like breathing-in green apples. The palate is slightly citrus and oaky, not at all the faddish buttery thing a lot of chardonnays now try to be…and the finish was balanced but left the best parts lingering perfectly. 5 Stars go to Brandon for knowing this wine should be in his store! Now we can’t wait to try the second bottle…a Chateau Joanin Becot from Bordeaux from Castillion Cotes De Bordeaux. Brandon just got another loyal customer after one visit. Thanks Brandon.
Attention all wine lovers! I recently discovered that a new wine shop has opened, so I decided to check it out while I was in the area. I'm glad I did! The owners, Brandon and Priscilla, were a delight to talk to; they are very friendly and welcoming. Brandon is a sommelier, so you can ask him anything about wines. They told me about their wine club, and it sounds like a lot of fun to receive different wines every month. They have a wide selection, including some very expensive options as well as more affordable ones. (I do wish they sold cheese in the store as well!)
This shop is exactly what Jacksonville was missing. They have a selection that has something for everyone & a great price range. Brandon & the entire team are happy to help you find something you’ll love, and make wine feel very approachable and fun! You’ll definitely find lots of unique choices that the big box stores can’t get their hands on. 1000/10!
Great store to purchase professionally and carefully selected wines as well as enjoy and learn in the wine tasting sessions they offer. Store staff and management provides excellent advice and guidance.
This is my new favorite place! A great selection of wines and the owner Brandon is very helpful in the discovery of new gems to taste! If you are in the market for great wine and special events Boudreau is the place to be!
