Yah Suh Nice Jamaican Cuisine

1st time visiting Yah Auh Nice Jamaican Restaurant in Jacksonville Fl. They are really busy here with take out orders and pick up orders. We dined in and didn't wait long foe our food. Nicely decorated in Jamaican colors with booth and table, and bar seating available. Two sofas, one yellow and the other green. They have the Jaican patty warmer right up front on the counter. We ordered our usual of oxtails, rice n peas, a mixture of cabbage and vegetables. We ordered plaintains as well. Try them out. They are located in a strip mall shopping center!

I ordered the escovitch fish with cabbage, rice and peas, and a festival, and I was very impressed. The fish was perfectly fried with a crisp exterior and well-balanced seasoning. The cabbage was flavorful and well-prepared, while the rice and peas were cooked to perfection. The festival added a nice, slightly sweet complement to the meal. Overall, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I look forward to returning.

Very clean restaurant. Family oriented. The food was AMAZING ! My first time trying it, the oxtails fell off the bone, my Mac was moist and flavor packed, plantains were cooked to perfection.. and the rice and peas were soooooo good. Not overcooked. I can’t wait to go back. Gravy so good I could drink through a straw.

My Husband and I ate here on our visit to Jacksonville! We got Oxtails, Mac n cheese, rice and peas, and Brown Stew Chicken!! It was sooo good!! We will def return. It was beautiful and comfortable inside, had a laid back vibe. We ate in on a Sunday!
