Dr. Vangundy is an outstanding physician who truly listens and cares about her patients. She not only took the time to get to know me, but also made it clear she is in my corner and will do everything possible to help me reach a healthier state of mind.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at a children’s hospital during my daughter’s mental health evaluation during a crisis. The evaluator, Chandra Hicks, was rude and dismissive and refused to review the evidence I brought regarding my daughter’s history and recent statements. She even questioned why my daughter was there or why I was seeking help, as if I did something wrong in seeking help for my child. As a parent seeking urgent help for a mentally ill child, I expected a thorough, professional, and compassionate assessment. Instead, my concerns were disregarded, making an already stressful situation far worse. I hope the hospital reviews this incident and improves its mental health services for families in crisis.
they were so amazing to me while i was in the psych ward. Mrs Jacqueline was so sweet to me. I will never forget how quick one of my doctors (she moved shortly after, and i forgot her name) were so quick to care for me when an incident happened there with another patient. the only problem i had was that my therapist very rarely saw me. I only saw him when I got there and for the meeting with my parents. I was never able to share my thoughts because my parents were there. but other than that, the ward was amazing and im so beyond greatful for everyone who cared for me. God bless.
Exceptional care for our children and support for parents as we advocate for the best possible solutions and pathways to help our children thrive. Wonderful customer service, prompt appointment times, clean offices and accommodating seating areas.
They have really great doctors they help and listen to you I really I like them because I'm finally getting the help I need and medication
