This facility is top notch and goes above and beyond for their patients and clients. My dog was treated extremely well and they were extremely patient with her by giving her time to get comfortable with them prior to her exam. This enabled her to have a thorough exam without being nervous. I was also having difficulty with my pet insurance company and Dr. Holloway and her team have been extremely helpful in helping me deal with this issue. Highly recommend them for your pets dental needs!

It's hard to know who you can truly trust in the animal care field when it comes to your beloved pets who cannot speak up for themselves. After our experience with Dr. Holloway, Kate, Tara, Jenn, and the front desk staff at VDS, I can honestly say that they restored our faith in veterinary care (emphasis on care). From the moment we arrived to the moment we left and thereafter, we never felt rushed or treated like just another appointment or that we were being taken advantage of as desperate loving pet parents. Dr. Holloway took the time to explain everything thoroughly during the consultation, appointment, post-procedure, and followup. He answered every question we had, and made sure we fully understood what was happening with our dog, Khaleesi. The entire staff was professional, compassionate, patient, and genuinely loving toward her, too. Also, the equipment at VDS is truly state-of-the-art. They showed us clear CT scan images of what was going on beneath the gumline, then carefully explained the recommended treatment plan. The CT image taken at VDS was 100x better than the CT image taken at a different medical facility, and VDS's price was a fraction of the cost. Dr. Holloway was also incredibly considerate of the fact that we had traveled three hours to get there and had already spent a small fortune at other vet offices. Dr. Holloway's compassion and understanding meant a great deal to us. In retrospect, I wish we had gone to VDS first! We spent thousands of dollars elsewhere on X-rays, biopsies, and CT scans that ultimately gave us inconclusive answers. VDS provided the clarity we had been searching for with a clear and certain diagnosis. Dr. Holloway also educated us on what true dental health looks like in dogs. We learned how important it is to have, at minimum, dental X-rays performed at the time of every dental cleaning to evaluate the health of the teeth, bone, and gums below the surface. Annual cleanings alone may leave serious problems hidden beneath the gumline that we tend to pass off as "bad breath" because of tartar buildup, when in reality it could be or become a serious problem. We are so grateful to VDS that we finally have answers! I highly recommend going to VDS if your pet needs an oral issue diagnosed. From there, you can decide on the next steps with confidence. If possible, I would also recommend having all of your pet's dental cleanings performed there so any hidden dental disease can be detected early. Our dog saw Dr. Holloway and her team this week for a cleaning, some dental work and extractions. The care our best friend received was outstanding and she is on the road to feeling so much better. Dr. Holloway took the time to go through my dog’s X-rays with me and her suggestions for treatment.
