Without question Veterans is one of my favorite breweries in North East Florida. They have a great selection of beers and they have small batch trials they have on rotation. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is worth the visit. We try to stop in any time we are in the area.
Veterans United Brewing Company in Jacksonville is an outstanding brewery. Their beer selection is excellent, and everything I tried was really well done. I had the Eschenfrau / Fight Like Helles, a German-style Helles, and the WatchStander NEIPA. The WatchStander was definitely my favorite—the flavor was fantastic. I also really like that it helps fund The Fire Watch, a suicide prevention program supporting veterans and their families. Great beer supporting an even greater cause. I also had a sample of Orange Is the New Bee, which was really smooth. The orange flavor complemented the beer without overpowering or interfering with the wheat flavor. The service was attentive and friendly, and the pours were great—good-sized pours without an excessive amount of head. Overall, a fantastic brewery with outstanding beer, great service, and a mission worth supporting. I'll definitely be back to try more of their selections. 🍻🇺🇸
We had the pleasure of stopping by on a live music night. The musician was great and added a nice touch to our night. The bartender was super sweet but we had the marvelous experience of meeting the GM and one of the brewers. They gave us a tour of the brew room and a little history of the brewery. Such a wonderful atmosphere with kind people who are passionate about what they do. The beer is also delicious and they have a lot of games and allow dogs! Stop by when you have the chance, you won’t regret it.
Wow.... We were impressed. Such a nice space, with great beer and a sense of tremendous pride in America and those that serve. We picked Veterans United because of its convenient location. We were rewarded with amazing beers served up by the friendly staff and a warm and welcoming and great clientele that we enjoyed conversing with too. It's the kind of place that does everything right. The taproom is very clean and modern, has plenty of parking and was not all that busy on the weeknight when we visited. We loved most of the beers we tried with the most outstanding ones being the Mehr Bitte Bock Doppelbock and the Buzzing Bee Honey Lager, which were both the best anywhere in their respective styles. We brought home several six packs, including one that was truly unique - a mixed six-pack of six different beer styles. We will return to Veteran's United sometime soon and enjoy more of their great brews.
They allow your dog friends inside! Great beers on tap made at their brewery. Some food items always available. They also let you bring your own food in.
