While staying at Flamingo Lake RV Resort, I had two great customer service experiences that really stood out. First, I asked Lori from the front office a question while she was outside that I needed a door code. When I realized she was off duty, I said, “Never mind,” but she insisted on going back into the office to get it for me. That’s going above and beyond—and on a Friday afternoon, no less! Not long after that, I ordered a pizza from the Café and had the pleasure of dealing with Melody. By the time my pizza was ready, a storm had rolled in. Melody and the team went out of their way to make sure I didn’t end up with a soggy pizza on the ride back in the golf cart. They even gave me a trash bag to protect it from the rain. I mean, come on—two outstanding customer service experiences within 30 minutes! That says a lot about the people who work here. I can’t say enough about Flamingo Lake RV Resort. The people truly make the experience, and Lori and Melody are great examples of what exceptional customer service looks like.
Wow, Oh WOW! You have never had a tasty adult freezee treat like the ones here! Lightweights be warned! Piña Colada and strawberry daiquiri is always available (*They will mix them and call it a Miami Vice!). The third option is a rotating special…. IF you are lucky- it is creamsicle! ***PRO TIP- Mix Creamsicle and Piña colada= 1985 Life Savers Orange Cream Saver!!!!!!! Both front and back of house is kept IMMACULATE! The young ladies who work there are simply perfection- attentive, chatty, fast and your food ALWAYS arrives as requested with special attention to packaging and presentation! The menu is priced extremely fair. They have a diverse, well thought out selection of high quality items on their menu: Shareable Starters, Kids Selection, Handhelds and Salads…. You cannot go wrong with any choice! A calendar is available with the daily schedule of events, specials and entertainment! Indoor and outdoor seating is available- all with a 180 degree view of the lake, parks and beaches! Enjoy!
The staff at this cafe are beyond hospitable. Katie K & Ginny went above and beyond on making our experience the best possible (even when life gave us lemons). The grilled chicken salad I got was crisp and fresh! I’m only sad we don’t have a longer stay to try other items! Be sure to look for BINGO night! We’ll be back ! Thank you!
We love this place! So blessed to have it here at home. Katie and Kristi did a great job during Super Bowl! Outstanding food and service.
Great place to hangout and enjoy a meal. We come often to have a pizza on Wednesdays and play trivia.
