Uncle Gene's Soul & Seafood Cf

They were out of the desserts I wanted to try so I got the pound cake. It was just ok. I also tried the seafood combo with fish and shrimp, good flavor but the fish had a lot of bones, more than I’m use to so be careful and eat the fish with caution. I did order whiting but somehow got a piece of catfish in which I don’t eat. They were out the sides I wanted to try so I had to opt for the collard greens and Mac n cheese instead both were good and I was super grateful they gave me a corner piece. The service was great cooked to order so I was grateful for that. Will support again and try the stuff I originally wanted. One thing they can improve on is offering sauce or condiments with the seafood at least some tarter sauce or hot sauce packets.

First time on 7/23/26 well pleased no disappoint. 👌🏾 went back 7/24, ordered something different. Totally😡 regret old muffin cold wrong food and paid for item didn't get it. So disappoint i couldn't eat it. I think when you start out cooking you food for your own business then you hire someone else that's when you lose customers because hired help isn't gonna do as you do in your business. Not returning. Yeah I kepted it😔

The flavor was awful. I got oxtail over mashed potatoes. Very salty dish. I should’ve gotten rice. I did add hot sauce but you can literally see all the oil. The muffin was good. I paid $18 and couldn’t finish eating this. I’m going to McDonald’s.

Hmmm. Catfish is ok. Tooo much grease... see the bottom of container?... should have been drained and cooked a little longer. Cabbage was bland and potato salad had a weird taste. Lemon pepper wings were ok. Gizzards were salty to hubby, but I thought they were the best out all the meals lol. I'll try them again but choose something different.
