Last meal of our spring break trip to Amelia Island and overall a solid experience. When you arrive, be ready to head upstairs, either by elevator or some very tight stairs on the side of the building to the second floor. We had about a 30-minute wait for a party of 6, which wasn’t bad. Our server was friendly, and the food came out really fast. Breakfast was definitely good and hit the spot. Just a heads up on pricing, side dishes can sneak up on you. Biscuits and gravy were around $13, and even a half order was about $10. The highlight for us was easily the balcony view overlooking a busy beach, great atmosphere to wrap up the trip. And bonus entertainment: the robot food runner cruising around talking. At one point it said, “help a sister out,” which had us all laughing. Fun spot with good food and a memorable twist to end the vacation.
A nice restaurant right next to a beautiful beach and nice live music in the background, it's well worth the visit to try out, and one of the few places with raspberry tea in the South. The lobster had a strong flavor, and the fries were good, which made it nice and let me feel fancy while still being reasonably priced.
We went here at the motel's recommendation. We were extremely happy we did. We were greeted by Rosie (also our server) who had a wonderful personality-- the entire staff was pleasant. Our seat overlooked the ocean. I am picky about coffee and their's was quite tasty. My son had the french toast using cinnamon raisin bread which he said was very good. However, my shrimp and grits were out of this world, perhaps eclipsing my previous best from Sullivan's Island, SC. The shrimp was fresh caught, almost perfectly cooked, and tasty. The mix of spices and flavoring tidbits were tasty, by only complaint might be the bacon was one step crispier than i like (i had to say something negative). The portion was so large i had to take a to-go box. Addition: We went a second day and it was every bit as good as before, but this time it was warm enough to sit on the patio. I've attached four pictures
Absolutely loved Tortuga Jack’s Waterfront Dining on Amelia Island! Enjoyed a glass of Prosecco and crab eggs Benedict while soaking in fantastic water views and a laid-back, fun vibe. The food was delicious, food arrived fairly quickly, and the service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, beautiful scenery, and a relaxing atmosphere.
The view is beautiful of the beach. The staff was friendly & food was delicious. Absolutely perfect way to start a morning
