What a cool spot! A food truck, sorta...but it is more permanent with great outdoor umbrella covered tables and fun games for kids and adults... We got it to go for our beach day and the food was fantastic! Owner is so friendly. And .5 yes .5 not 5 was plenty of flavor for me but if you like it hot go for it! They have a good heat scale posted in their order window. Ya gotta try it!
The most amazing pad Thai on the island. Chicken, shrimp, veggie or tofu. Carefully order your spice level. 1 for many 2 has quite a bit of zip, like a 7 in other scales. I have not dared 3 or above.
100 stars for Eato Chef! Came from St Augustine to try their pad thai and was blown away by how delicious it was! I tried the egg pad thai and it was the best pad thai I’ve ever had. Mai Mai, the owner, sat with me and shared her story of starting her restaurant. She was so incredibly kind and welcoming. This is a really special place that’s not to be missed ❤️
This little airstream spot is an absolute gem. The food was incredible, service was lightning fast, and there was no wait at all which felt like hitting the jackpot. The setup is super cute and has that cozy, tucked-away vibe that makes you want to hang around. I ordered the egg rolls, dumplings, and mango sticky rice, and every single bite tasted fresh and made with care. Nothing felt rushed or reheated, just really solid, flavorful food. Definitely one of those places you try once and immediately know you’ll be back… and I will be.
Tried Eato Chef and we liked how different it felt from your typical Fernandina Beach food spot. The Airstream setup gives it a cool, casual vibe, and the chicken and shrimp pad Thai was really good with solid flavor. We were hoping to try the mango sticky rice but they were out, so maybe next time. Staff was friendly and easy to talk to, which always makes a difference. Overall, a nice little Thai food stop if you're in Fernandina Beach. (Video on my TikTok & IG page: @eddynguyenrealtor)
