The UPS Store

I decided to visit this establishment despite the numerous negative reviews to see how it goes. And it could be, depending on who is working that day, staff-wise. Nevertheless, fortunately, I had already printed my own label at home and was simply returning a package. The young man assisting me seemed to be aware of the previous feedback, as he was kind enough to tape the package for me, because I really did not have the tape to do it myself. Therefore, I was prepared to purchase an envelope and pay for it when I walked in, but you know what? He graciously taped it, scanned my label, and provided my receipt. Oh, and I was greeted when I walked through the door. I sincerely hope and pray that they maintain this level of service, as I will gladly continue to patronize any business that offers excellent customer service. I understand that economic conditions have led to price increases across the board. Still, I genuinely believe it's not so severe that we cannot receive a small amount of additional assistance, such as a piece of tape. I do not believe they are experiencing significant financial hardship. Henceforth, I hope everyone has a great experience, or maybe even a better one, if they go back. It's considered a location monopoly market.

Great for Amazon returns and most of the young staff members are very nice, but be careful with anything else. Quoted over $500 more in-store for Next Day Air on a package that cost $299 for the identical service when I purchased postage myself on ups.com — same box, same weight, same day. I visited the store to get a document printed . During my visit, we had trouble getting the email to come through. Finally we got that to work. During this me and the person taking care of me were joking around and laughing about it not coming through. Everything was fine. Because of the way it printed I needed to call and make sure that on the other end it was legible enough to work for the County to get this done. The person on the end of the phone asked me if I was getting it notarized at the UPS store to which I said no, they will not be notarizing it because they do not have the person here who is signing it. At that point the girl behind the desk asked me if I needed her to notarize it and I said no you don’t know the person who signed it and they are not here so there would be no way for you to notarize it. I did not raise my voice. I was not rude, but she said I was rude and asked the other gentleman to check me out who also told me that I was being rude and had attitude. They essentially were rude to me. I was not rude. The person on the phone with me said that I was not rude and he was also confused as to why they thought I was being rude.

The BEST UPS store I have been to in awhile. I print/ship a lot for work and this store was quick and very helpful when it came to emailing docs over. They stayed late to make sure I had 40 documents correct for an event the next day. Great service!!
