The Tour Academy

I took a set of 5 lessons with Matt at the PGA Tour Golf Academy to finish up my first 2 years of playing. I had been scoring around 100 +/- for the past year but wanted to improve my game. Accuracy was the focus and we spent the first few lessons entirely on irons. Matt was very focused on my swing mechanics and the training center was a big help. He was a pleasure to work with and learn from. Suffice it to say I am pleased with his instruction. I just scored 88 on my home course in Colorado!

My dad and I did a three day golf school program with Anne Cain and it was a great experience for both of us! Anne was a wonderful teacher, she broke down specific parts of my game and helped me to understand some of the things that I needed to change. She was able to clearly identify the problems and explain them to me so that I knew what these mistakes were. She also helped me to come up with a plan for what specific drills and practices I should work on to help fix them. On the course, Anne helped me to take into account many factors to hit smart shots and I am looking forward to putting her lessons into practice!! My dad and I are excited to return in the future!

I just finished a 3-day golf school with Anne Cain - and holy cow! I could not be happier with the experience. Anne is a fantastic teacher, focused on the fundamentals and permanent improvement rather than temporary, quick fixes (although my game is already a fair bit better!). She gave me specific, practical lessons for every part of my game. I may have a lot to work on, but I'm extremely confident in what I need to do - and the improvement I will make. I also played two 9-hole rounds with Anne, and I left with clear and effective strategies for course management. This is the best thing I have ever done for my game, and I've been playing for over 20 years. And, it was just a great, fun and positive overall experience. I am certain I will be back to the Golf Academy and would 100% recommend it, and especially Anne, to anyone interested in becoming a better player.

My son, who is 12 years old, began showing interest in golf 4 months ago. Since I don't know much about golf mechanics and fundamentals, we reached out the PGA Academy at World Golf Village. We connected with Matt McKay with the Golf Academy, and we couldn't be happier. My son has only had three lessons, but always seems to look forward to the next lesson. Coah Matt not only relates and communicates well with my son, but he also understands that kids want immediate results. The drills, fundamentals, communication, technology, ability to notice minor swing flaws all produce instant results! Coach Matt is also formally educated (college degree maybe) on getting my son's body to produce the most possible power thru efficient movement(s). While we've only been to three lessons, there is significant improvement in my son's swing, distance and ball striking......even with cheap clubs from Amazon. We asked about upgrading my son's clubs. They had several options. We decided on Ping ProdiG clubs. Coach Matt and the master club fitter on site fitted my son. They also educated us on Ping's policy of another free fitting, re-shafting and re-gripping as my son grows. Lastly, the facility is immaculate. If you're looking for lessons, I'd strongly recommend the professionals at PGA Tour Golf Academy. One more note, don't challenge Coach Matt to a "closest to the pin" contest. My son does so weekly and always takes the L. Fun stuff!!
