The Neighborly Handyman

We had David and Eric come out to repair a garage and inside wall. They were super thorough and thought through several different scenarios to make sure they were going to do it right as well as least amount of demo involved. We appreciated that. The finished product is amazing. You’d never know there was a hole in the 2 walls. We are getting another quote on some other work, we want them to do.

Dave rebuilt a wooden pergola located near my front doorway. He and Johnny did a great job. They completed the job despite extremely high temperatures in the mornings and a thunderstorm on the last day. His communication was excellent and his price was fair. I plan to use his services on future projects.

The Neighborly Handyman completed our project of removing and replacing the bulkhead along the marsh side of our property. The workers were communicative, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They did an excellent job. We highly recommend this business. Photos are before and after.

I highly recommend Dave and Justin as carpenters and general handyman services. This includes larger jobs such as tearing down and rebuilding my porch. Originally the job was to tear down the wood frame with the exception of the main support beams and rebuild, paint and screen the porch. Once the main beams were exposed it was discovered these also had rot at the base and needed to be replaced along with a small rebuild of the concrete/brick floor. I agreed to the change in price due to increased job scope and the work proceeded. The porch they built is more solid than when I moved in 20 years ago and is beautiful. Dave was very responsive to texts and questions I had along the way. He would let me know when they would arrive and they left their working space tidy each day. I’ve had some bad experiences over the years and I am happy to find reliable, quality driven business owners/workers in Dave and Justin. They will definitely be getting more work from me.
