The Loop - Avondale

I was just out for a drive with no destination in mind. I came around the corner, saw The Loop & deceided to stop in. Great family enviornment. Staff was friendly & helpful. The lobby was clean, the tables were clean, the bathroom was clean. They take clenliness seriously here, the fountain drink area was also spotless. I got the meat market pizza 8in, flavors were fantastic! I sat down & had a beer while I was waiting for my pizza. I'm sure i'll be back, but maybe one of the other locations closer to home.

This restaurant used to be part of my regular rotation of meals for takeout. But this last time which was 8/29/2026 is the last time we will be ordering from the restaurant. Once upon a time, the accuracy of our takeout orders was pretty good. At best it is only accurate 50% of the time now including last night which we ordered two cheeseburgers on buns french fries side of broccoli, blue cheese, chips, and another side of broccoli. Instead, we got burger on tortilla wraps. Completely inaccurate of what we ordered through the online ordering system. Usually, it’s just missing fries or missing broccoli or something simple. On another occasion, we didn’t get sandwiches at all so after countless times of ordering for pick up that’s it especially when you’re paying $40 or more for two meals for food that is mediocre at best. The french fries always taste like they were fried in the same fryer as the onion rings. As far as dining in for a better experience, the restaurant is filthy. The tables are always dirty. They’re never wiped clean. The floor is slippery from the grease that’s in the air. It’s almost like they only clean a few times a week. Totally disgusting..

DO NOT order food from here thru an app (Uber eats, door dash etc) this establishment doesn't even respect your business enough to tie your food up to protect it from the crazies in the world. My driver pulled up with my bag fully open.. I felt very nervous to eat the food. I won't patronize here again (today was my 1st time) because the food (my order anyway) was subpar and I had to learn (with them not protecting my food) that they care about their bottom line... Not me. P.s. tying a a knot on a bag is free.

First visit here, and the lunch time crowd was not bad. Really cool atmosphere. You order at the counter then have a seat, either inside or on their outdoor patio. When your buzzer goes off, go retrieve your food. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger, and from the first bite, it was delicious. It wasn't overly seasoned, and it was tender and juicy with a fantastic bun. My co-worker had the Chicken Caesar Wrap, cut in half. While she enjoyed it, she did mention that one half of the wrap was rather dry and the other half had the right amount of dressing. All in all, this is a place to visit.
