  I strongly recommend that anyone considering this property ask a lot of questions upfront and thoroughly inspect/document the condition of their unit before signing a lease. I wish I had done even more of this myself. I have now been here for over two months, and I am STILL dealing with issues that were reported shortly after moving in. What started as multiple maintenance concerns has turned into an ongoing issue with lack of communication, follow-through, and urgency from the office. The most frustrating part is that I’ve been given timelines for when things would be addressed, only to have those dates come and go with no update. At one point, I was specifically told an issue would be taken care of by the end of that week. Two weeks later, I still had not received any communication or resolution. More recently, communication from the office has gotten noticeably worse. The office staff used to respond much more quickly, and now it can take significantly longer to get a response, if I get one at all. I should not have to repeatedly chase the leasing office for updates on issues that have already been reported and acknowledged. I also want to give credit where it’s deserved: Adam from maintenance has been helpful and pleasant to work with. My frustration is primarily with the office and the way ongoing issues have been communicated and handled, particularly my experience with Baleigh. There seems to be a lot of “we’ll look into it” or “we’ll keep you updated,” but very little actual follow-through. At this point, I’m incredibly frustrated. Over two months is far too long to still have outstanding issues from the beginning of a lease, especially when communication has become increasingly difficult. If you’re looking at this property, my advice is: ask questions, inspect EVERYTHING, take pictures and videos, document every issue, and get promises in writing. Don’t assume that because the office acknowledges an issue, it will necessarily be resolved quickly. I really wanted to love living here but we have had soooooo many issues since moving in.
