  SKIP THIS STORE. Extremely disappointing customer service. I came to Home Depot simply needing to make keys for my job, and from the beginning it felt like no one wanted to actually help me. I was directed to use the self-service key machine, which is more expensive by the way , except the machine never asked for my email, phone number, or any other information to send a receipt. Naturally, I assumed it would print one after I paid and the keys were made. It did not. Because I need the receipt to be reimbursed by my job, I politely asked an employee if there was any way to get one. He didn’t know the answer, which I completely understand, so he asked another employee for help. Her response was rude and dismissive. I was basically told, “It’s not our machine,” as if that meant it was no longer their problem.I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I simply asked if there was ANY way they could help me get proof of purchase. Instead of apologizing, offering a suggestion, getting a manager, or even pretending to care, I was treated like I was inconveniencing them by asking a basic customer-service question. What made it even more frustrating was watching employees have plenty of time to stand around talking and laughing with coworkers, yet somehow helping a paying customer seemed like too much of an inconvenience. Now I’m stuck without the receipt I need for reimbursement, and I can only hope the keys actually work because apparently I also have no receipt if there is an issue with them. The store itself was messy, the staff was unfriendly, and the overall experience was completely lacking in customer service. Mistakes and confusing machines happen that isn’t what earned this review. It was the dismissive attitude and complete lack of effort to help. A simple “I’m sorry, let me see what we can do” would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling like I was the problem for expecting employees to provide customer service at the store where I just spent my money. Very disappointing.
