Such a great experience from start to finish! The restaurant was incredibly clean, and the staff truly made our first visit perfect... everyone was so friendly and welcoming, they gave us recommendations, helping us decide what to order, and even waved goodbye to us as we left! We started with the appetizer sampler and then had the chicken and beef feteer, and everything was SO good. The portions were also huge, we left with plenty of leftovers! There were so many other things on the menu we wanted to try but simply didn't have room for. Great food, generous portions, an incredibly clean restaurant, and some of the nicest staff ever! We already can't wait to come back and try more!
First time for me. I was in the area. I found the Dough Show, ai was nearby. It v is bright, clean, staff is very helpful, they explained the choices to me and I found it to be well seasoned, quick service, decent prices...I would go there again. I did order a dessert, very good!
This was my first time having Arab/Egyptian food and I was impressed. I had the chicken and beef schwarma and it was delicious. The falafel was solid. I have never even eaten falafel, but it was good. Service was great. The guy at the counter was very attentive and willing to help atmosphere was amazing. I’ve never even been to Egypt but now I can say I’ve been. I will be back. Enjoy my post meal picture!
Incredibly delicious food, modern decor and very friendly and professional staff. Chicken bowl with rice, Baba Ghanoush (super good) humus, garlic sauce and spicy sauce was an exquisite culinary experience! All of the sides and sauces were very flavorful. Plenty of chicken balanced with the right amount of rice. The order was prepared fresh and brought out surprisingly quick. We tried the Hawawshi- savory tasty fried, meat-filled pita. So very flavorful. Rice pudding is the best we have had in a very long time. Can’t wait to come back and try the feteer options. The staff were very friendly. We were greeted by Courtney who explained the menu and answered questions. She is awesome and very helpful! Chef Rasha came to our table and asked how things were. She shared a little background on the restaurant and personal history. Abdul did an excellent job preparing our order and ensuring everything was perfect. We really enjoyed the modern, bright look. Very inviting and welcoming. This is a 10 out of 10, I highly recommend you visit The Dough Show!!
We really liked this place. I didn't know Jacksonville had such a good, affordable place to eat. It's bright and clean. The food is delicious. Our order arrived quickly and hot. The only noise was at times, either from the music or from the rowdy guests at the next table. Overall, I highly recommend it.
