Terry Concert Hall

Wonderful performances every time we attended. Sometimes, you can watch world famous artists perform, like Alison Buchanan (soprano), Anyango Yarboro-Davenport (violin), Khari Joyner (cello), Kevin Sharpe (piano)

Acoustics in Terry Concert Hall are very good. Clean and well maintained, a very accommodating venue to hear music and attend workshops.

Attended the last public music performances in this venue due to the budget cuts to music and several other departments. Acoustics in the upper balcony are a bit harsh, concrete block construction used on the walls which are not acoustically treated causing some distortion at higher frequencies and decibel levels which an orchestra can put out. Lower level was much better and the space does have acoustic fabric they can roll down or up in the performance space (black material available on the sides of the performance stage). Seating accommodates maybe 500 which can get warm when the AC is not actively running. Parking is wherever you can find it since there are student living on campus and the location sits near the front gate.
