Professor Mike and Professor Renod’s passion for Jiu-Jitsu shines through in the way they teach and care for their students. They take the time to explain techniques, help students understand the details, and encourage everyone to grow at their own pace. Their commitment goes beyond teaching a class, you can feel how invested they are in each student’s progress and confidence. They’ve created a welcoming, supportive environment at Studio 8 St. Augustine.

I’ve trained for years under Professor Phil Cardella at this location! I’m extremely grateful for everything he taught me. His retirement was a little worrying, but he made the right choice of handing the torch over to Studio 8. Professor Renod, Mike, Brandon are awesome instructors and it’s a pleasure and honor getting to train with them! Brandon continues to make upgrades which is making our awesome spot even better. The culture is intact, world class instruction, and awesome open mat energy!
