Located in Cimarrone Golf Club community, this spot is open to the public—just check in with the security guard at the gate. My wife and I started off with the spinach artichoke dip which was a great way to kick things off. For the mains, we shared the pork chop and the half roasted chicken, both served with broccoli and potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious. Even the Dark and Stormy cocktail hit the mark. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommended!
We arrived with a party of 4 and were excited to try this restaurant as we had heard good things it. Unfortunately, I think we came on a game night and the noise hit us as soon as we entered. We asked to be seated in the quietest area possible which was slightly better. Our server was sweet and attentive. Between the 4 of us, we ordered 3 different meals. All of the meals were just average. The Cajun chicken pasta was mostly pasta with just a few pieces of meat. The burger was average. The steak frites were pretty good. We think the restaurant has a lot of potential as it’s a really pretty location and nice building but we left feeling unimpressed and most likely will not return.
A Hallmark Channel-Worthy Escape Stepping into this restaurant feels like discovering a true hidden gem. It's an experience straight out of a feel-good movie, blending exceptional food with a resort-style atmosphere. The air hums with live music, and the friendly chatter of neighbors creates a sense of community that's truly special. This is the kind of place you find yourself missing and craving long after you've left. With a menu full of enticing dishes, it's a spot you can return to again and again, each visit a new opportunity to find a favorite. A big thank you to the owner for giving the community such a unique and wonderful escape.
Inside the Cimarrone Community is a new eatery called Stone & Barrel Taphouse. It is lovely with its wood made tables and accents, rustic look and of course, beautiful golf green views this place feels a mix of classic and comfort. The food is, well really great too! We enjoyed the V’s family classic salad with a great portion creamy burrata mozzarella cheese, prosciutto and heirloom tomatoes topped with a sweet fig balsamic dressing (we ordered ours on the side). We then ordered the “Birds and the Bees” sandwich. This heavenly bite is a fried chicken breast nestled in between Belgium waffles and has a brown sugar butter spread and maple syrup drizzle. This thing is AMAZING.. seriously… good. But suggest you split it as it’s also very filling! We added sweet potato fries and left very full and happy. Going back for happy hour and to try their wood fire pizzas next.. WooHoo!
Definitely disappointed in the experience. Ordered a chicken dish, looked great, but once I took a bite, I knew something was off. Looked at my chicken and noticed the meat was raw! I didn't make a big deal about it, and switch out for a pizza which was great though.
