Hosted the Jax Biz Journal's Women of Influence awards at the end of March and the experience was top notch! Their Director of Events, Amanda, was very communicative and helpful. Definitely understands her space and how to use it. It was my first time using this venue, and she helped me with several layout options and helped me talk through things I wanted to do. We hosted 270 people and utilized the courtyard, lobby, kitchen and ballroom area. Nothing felt overcrowded with that many people and the tables. It felt intimate. I'm not sure how long the space has been open for but it is very, very clean. Their staff takes very good care of the venue. It was a windy day, so there were leaves on the ground, but nothing that I would have noticed, and their crew (Scott) came back to blow the leaves off. Also, there were a few adjustments I needed to make onsite after the tables and chairs were set. Scott was so quick to jump in to help move things. He's great! The courtyard doesn't have a lot of shade at 3:30 p.m., and the sun decided to come out right before the event started, so it was warm but the guests utilized the building, and covered sidewalk. Didn't ruin the vibe of the event at all, people still used the high top tables that were in the sun. We only were outside for 1 hour. The lobby has a gorgeous countertop used for stationed food. It was nice to have the bride and groom suite room to hold all of our things we didn't need visible.
The St. John the Divine Event Center is a beautiful venue and so flexible in what it can accommodate. It can truly be transformed to fit your vision and style. The amenities are excellent and the staff is second to none. I highly recommend this venue for any and all gatherings, celebrations, parties, weddings, and the list goes on! Thank you again to the venue staff for making our reception absolutely stunning and flawless! We love you all!
We filmed Suchitra and Arin’s Indian and Caribbean wedding at St. John Event Center, and it was a fantastic experience. The venue offered plenty of space for their vibrant celebration and gave us beautiful areas to capture both video and their Super 8 wedding film. The layout worked perfectly for the traditions and all the moments that made their wedding so special. We highly recommend it to couples looking for a spacious and fun venue for their celebration.
Amazing facility with dance floor, sound, video capabilities. There is ample table space to accommodate all your quests. The staff is amazing and they work tirelessly to make sure the facility exceeds your every expectation. If you have an upcoming event be sure to check them out, you won’t be disappointed!!
I have been to St.Johns event center for multiple events and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue. Andrea was attentive to our needs and works so well with other vendors. The space is a blank canvas to anything you want to do as far as design and the exterior calls for so many stunning photo opportunities. The staff is caring and professional. I would 100 percent recommend St. Johns Event center.
