I can’t even say enough to express my gratitude to Dr. Albrecht, Dr. Bailey and Nola for all the great care I have received over the last few months. It has been life changing. I struggled with a low back and upper back pain and constant headaches for years. After 90 days I can say with confidence, that I have not felt this good in a very long time! Thank you again for the attention to details and a genuine interest and care. Highly recommend to anyone that’s struggling with back pain for years and tried virtually everything else. You WON’T be disappointed.

When I first came to the Spine Center, I was in bad shape. I have always considered myself an active person, but at that moment, I had serious concerns with even the most basic of life tasks—like simply getting out of bed. I wanted to avoid surgery at all costs. Having watched several close friends undergo multiple back surgeries with terrible results, I was completely deterred from going down that path. I underwent spinal decompression therapy at the Center, and while it was touch-and-go for a while during the treatment, my body was eventually able to sort things out. The doctors were very patient with my progress, even extending my therapies without charge to further cultivate my healing. Today, I am able to do things that had become almost impossible to do the day I first walked in. Now, don't get me wrong—it's not like I'm 20 again! But I am back to doing most of the activities I want to do, including home improvements, part-time work, and even my daily motorcycle commute. A big part of my ongoing success is what I learned from the Spine Center doctors beyond the therapeutic treatments. I've developed a sharp awareness of my body's signals and learned how to limit myself during strenuous tasks—knowing when to say when so I can keep doing these activities safely. While I still hope to get back into long-distance motorcycle touring down the road, I am incredibly grateful for the mobility and life I have back right now without having to go under the knife.

My name is Lori, I'm 68 years old. My visit was 4/29 - 6/10/2025. I want to thank the St. Augustine Spine Center for all that you have done for me. From my first consultation with Dr. Albrecht to the last spinal decompression treatment, I have been treated with kindness and understanding of the pain I was in. When I came to the Spine Center I had a lot of pain shooting down my legs into my knees. Numbness in my feet. Difficulty walking, sitting and sleeping. Pins and needles all throughout my lower back. It also affected my posture and I was limping because everything hurt so bad. On my first consultation with Dr. Albrecht and he thoroughly explained what was going on with my back and how spinal decompression and other therapies could help. He recommended that I have an MRI so we could see what condition my spine was in. The results showed bulging discs and one severely herniated one. I made a decision at that time to start treatment. I embraced the literature that they gave me on what to do and what not to do, and followed the instructions carefully. I noticed improvement on the first couple visits. The upper middle of my back quit hurting and the pain shooting into my legs was not as severe. By the fourth treatment I had so much relief that I was shocked. I wondered if this was real. I had not felt this type of relief in a very long time. I had hope again that I would be okay. There were a few days that I was quite sore from treatments but I still noticed tremendous improvements and my pain levels continue to decrease. The whole team was so kind and always had a smile on their face. They were encouraging and answer all my questions. I did not think this was possible to be free of pain, but I am! I call this my new normal. And I love my new normal! And I'm going to take all of the advice that they gave me and apply it to my new life. I highly recommend the St Augustine Spine Center.
