Just enjoyed the shipwreck museum. Very clean and worth it to visit. Great real artifacts from sunken ships including titanic. Very much enjoyed the 3d movie experience of being loaded on a lifeboat, family departed, and seeing the titanic sink. What a horrifying experience that would have been. Carmen our hostess was very sweet.
This is hands down a must visit when visiting St. Augustine. Me and my family had an awesome time visiting. The owner was awesome he was on site working in some of the display cases and let me, my son and nephew hold and look at some really awesome pieces of history. We then went to the treasure area to use the metal detectors to find burried treasure in the sand and find our own buried treasure. My kids said it was the favorite part of our recent vacation! 10/10 would recommend.
This museum is awesome! Not only did we see really neat artifacts but we tried to Crack a code to a treasure chest, did a VR experience of the Titanic and medal detection for treasure! The staff was super friendly! We have been coming to St. Augustine our whole lives and we just discovered this museum. It was a good price. We truly enjoyed our visit!
My children, husband, and I had a really great time digging for treasures at the museum. The host was very knowledgeable and kind. He made sure our experience was awesome. We also really enjoyed browsing the variety of shipwreck artifacts and the other activities as well. Definitely highly recommend a visit if you enjoy treasure and shipwreck history.
I loved this museum! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a gorgeous recreation of the stairwell in the titanic movie. You then go explore the museum. They have hundreds of unique artifacts pulled up from shipwrecks, from bottles to swords in concretion to gold bars. There are tons of great things to check out. However, if you can only make one nautical stop in Saint Augustine, either this museum or the pirate treasure museum, I suggest the pirate treasure museum due to its size, themeing, and cooler artifacts.
