  Catch Me If You Can (Vilano Beach Edition) Vilano Beach was on full blast today, and I somehow ended up catching half the coastline in motion. The St. Augustine Marina was buzzing — boats rumbling, jet skis lined up like they were waiting for their cue, and the air thick with salt and sunscreen. The Vilano Beach Pier opened up into its own little universe: dolphins arcing overhead, blue paint glowing in the sun, and the breeze carrying every sound a little farther than it should. Kids were sprinting along the shoreline, fishermen were posted up like they were guarding the horizon, and that bright bluebird statue was smiling like it had seen this whole show a thousand times. Every corner had its own texture: warm pavement, cool shade, the snap of fishing lines, the echo of voices bouncing off the concrete.
