St Augustine ECO Tours

Had a great time. Captain Rich was very conscientious about making sure we were comfy in the light rain we had for our tour. Learned lot about the history of St Augustine. Briefly saw a manatee and watched a dolphin in its feeding frenzy swim! Would take the tour again!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable of the wildlife and some of the history you could see from the river. Sunset was gorgeous and timed well. Did see dolphins and a lot of birds. Gave restaurant recommendations which was a plus.

My bestie and I went on a combo tour (4:30 and into Night of Lights). We had a great time. Small boat, so there weren't a lot of people. This means you have a great view of everything. Captain Kev was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the area while showing us the sights. It was a cold night, he had blankets for anyone who needed them. That being said, we didn't see a lot of wildlife, but we did see an Osprey, some pelicans, terns, helicopters, police, and other law enforcement officers! It was a very interesting night. Ha Ha! Crazy times! The Sunset was absolutely gorgeous! Saw the Night of Lights from the water side - after taking the Tram ride several years in a row, this was a pleasant change. (Note - I also recommend the Tram Ride to see the lights from a different view. Do Both if you have the time) We plan on going back for birding season and we'll be booking a daytime eco tour with Captain Kev hoping to see some wildlife. I highly recommend.

Captain Rich was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions. You can tell he really knows the area and exactly where to go to give everyone the best chance of seeing wildlife—especially the dolphins! We saw plenty, and it made for such an unforgettable experience. If you’re thinking about booking this tour, do it! We had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again. Pro tip: If you tend to get hot, bring a neck fan or a folding fan. The boat does have shade, but it can still get pretty warm, especially later in the day.
