I have been eating food from Spliffs for forever and a day, but I have never left them a review before tonight, June 23rd 2026. Almost every time I attend a concert at a venue near Spliffs I grab some food to go after the show to eat when I get back home. My go to is The El Carne Caliente Mac N Cheese. And every time it is always delicious. But tonight was on a whole nother level, hands down the best El Carne Caliente I have ever had from Spliffs so I had to leave a review and I really wish I would have got two because it was so good!
First time going to Spliffs as recommended by a friend who lives in the area. Absolutely 💯 recommend when visiting Jacksonville. Their mac n cheese is to die for! Great pricing, good area, everyone was very kind. The wait for the food wasn't long at all, so we hung out by the bar and we had some great drinks while waiting (so many options). We'll be back for sure!
Food was very good and flavorful. Just came across this place while staying in a hotel near there. Other people's food in my party looked equally as good and they enjoyed it too. Would definitely visit again if I lived in Jacksonville.
The steak rice bowl sounded so good 3 of our group of 4 ordered it but the rice wasn't fully cooked so we were only able to really eat the steak and few veggies on top. 4th person ordered the wake n bake burger and they said it was pretty decent.
Sooo good Spliff's Gastropub - Downtown Jax 1) THE GOAT BOY GRILLED CHEESE Steak, caramelized onions and peppers, melted provolone cheese, goat cheese 2) THE STRING CHEESE Cheddar, swiss, mozzarella, pepperjack, goat cheese 3) THE VEGGIN OUT Broccoli, onions, peppers, spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese 4) Midnight Margarita 😋😋
