We have been at Smitty's for the past 10 years with multiple kids from 3months- 10 years. We love the daycare, VPK and the summer camp program they offer. Camp is very unique with fishing, canoeing, water slides, sports, swimming, etc. Definitely their favorite place to be during the summertime!
All four of my children have attended Smitty's at one point since 2020, whether it was summer camp, VPK, or nursery and young classes. We've been to others that "seem" more convenient with proximity and still always found ourselves back here, knowing our kids were loved and in a homey atmosphere. A friend who works in DCF actually told me this is the best daycare in Jacksonville, and is where she would send hers if they were still young. We love the ladies who work there and have known us for years now. There is a low turnover rate so the kids are around teachers they've been able to actually bond with over the years. Love this place, and so grateful for all they've been for our whole family.
Smitty's Learning Center is amazing! We had horrible issues with our first daycare experience at a different daycare off of Beach Blvd with our son back in 2021. When we switched to Smitty's we were so relieved to have such wonderful teachers/staff watching him! We have stayed with Smitty's since then, our oldest attended their VPK, attends their summer camp and our youngest is in the daycare. The entire staff truly cares for all of the kids and are extremely supportive in helping the kids learn and grow in a creative encouraging environment.
My granddaughter went to Smitty’s Learning Center. The amount of love and caring at this place is incredible!! Our little princess loved all the learning and the play time! She even had a cousin who went there too! Highly recommended and you will be very happy!!
Wouldn’t trust my kids with anyone else! We’ve had such a great experience with this daycare! Our kids absolutely love going every day, and it’s clear they feel happy, safe, and well cared for. The staff is warm, attentive, and truly invested in the children. As parents, that peace of mind means everything. We highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a nurturing and positive environment!
