Great Food, Friendly Service, and a Perfect Beach Vibe! We had a wonderful dining experience at Sizemore’s in Jacksonville Beach! Located right on the boardwalk, the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to dine indoors because of the humidity, and it turned out to be a great choice. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxed, and had just the right beach vibe. We started with the Cajun-Style Jambalaya, featuring the Holy Trinity, Southern Andouille sausage, chicken, and shrimp, along with the Bang-Bang Shrimp. The staff recommended the Bang-Bang Shrimp, and they were absolutely right. It was delicious and a great way to start the meal. For our entrées, we had the Grilled Salmon with Sweet Pea Risotto, Sautéed Spinach, Sherry Cream Sauce, and Tomato Marmalade. The combination of flavors was excellent, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. We also tried the Seafood Basket, choosing the fried shrimp and fried redfish with fries. Everything was hot, fresh, and satisfying. What really stood out was the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they made us feel welcomed throughout our visit. Sizemore’s is a great spot for anyone looking for good food, attentive service, and a comfortable beach atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back the next time we’re in Jacksonville Beach!

Pleasantly surprised by this spot! Exactly what the beach needs more of. Happy to support this locally-owned restaurant. The food was really tasty. We got the octopus starter (not pictured), halibut special as well as a blackened shrimp basket, and were really pleased with all of it. The octopus was just a touch dry and over cooked, but the flavor was excellent and we really enjoyed the dish. The halibut was cooked perfectly. It was raining when we visited so there was no one on the patio, but I’m excited to come back and sit out there — loves that pups are welcome. The interior felt trendy and welcoming without trying too hard. It was clean and tastefully decorated. Really wasn’t expecting to enjoy this experience as much as we did! Will definitely be back!
Me and my buddy had a great time at this restaurant. We got the seafood tower unfortunately I did not get any pictures of it, but it was amazing as well as the entrées that we ordered after the starters our server Alexis was great. She offered excellent service and knew her menu well, we really appreciate her service. We will definitely be going back in the near future.
Wonderful first time experience. Fresh of the beach wanted something fresh to eat and they didn’t disappoint! The drinks were delicious, and everyone should try the Louie. Not only for the taste, but the story, and proceeds go to a great cause. Crab cakes were 10/10, def get the street corn side!
